Campus is nice and close to the centre, everything you could really want is in close proximity to the campus. Organisation tends to be good, sometimes lectures are spread about a bit too much so you have to go from building to building, but some may like that. Students union is off campus so not many people go there but it's still only 5 mins away.

Great university with a beautiful campus, the engineering building is stunning. The campus gardens are very pretty too. My course was very well taught with lecturers always willing to help, the careers service was great and I actually got my current job from the careers website. I studied 4 years of aerospace engineering and I enjoyed it even though it was challenging throughout each year of the course. The students union was not great however, it was very far from the main university and covered in scaffolding most of the time. Renovations did occur which vastly improved the bar, also the societies and clubs that were part of the students union were fantastic and I was an active member of an expedition society. This involved rock climbing both indoors and outdoors every week along with many expedition trips to different parts of the country

A top university with a great nightlife, supportive student body and an exciting city with events on all the time

Bristol is a beautiful and vibrant city. The uni has great facilities and a big halls community for first years in stoke bishop. Overall quite expensive for accommodation, gym, clubs memberships in comparison with other unis.

Pretty good, facilities are very good and the city is really great. Pastoral care and the SU are practically non-existent and don't feel much care by the senior members of the university towards the students.

The campus is nice and I like the old fashioned buildings. And the location in the city centre is great. However, the libraries could be better and there is a lack of sense of community. Also it is difficult to find where everything is and organization is really bad.

Bristol is a fantastic place to study. The facilities are excellent and the teaching is incredible. As a science student, I get to use state of the art equipment and learn about the most current research. The city offers so many things to do, from an amazing nightlife, to trips to the harbour and brilliant shopping centres. There are also numerous places to eat and quirky coffee shops to stop by, meaning you’re always discovering new places. The reason I docked one star, is because I feel the student union could be improved, with more events.

The campus is right in the heart of the city, you feel part of it. There's lots of support offered.

Bristol University is a high-quality research institution with a host of opportunities available for any student looking to study here. I will split my review into: accommodation, student extra-curricular activities and teaching. Accommodation There are a range of accommodations provided at Bristol. I would personally recommend Clifton Campus as it is closest to the university and the others require a short commute everyday. However you can also live in the city centre or in Stoke Bishop (more remote). Extra-curriculars Bristol is great for this, there are so many societies and this is constantly growing! Check out fresher's fair on your first day and find out more. Teaching As with any university, the calibre of teaching will depend on the specific professor. However, in my experience, the calibre of teaching has been high and the tutors do care about your academic achievements and wellbeing.

Good facilities. Always striving to improve. Could have better pastoral support and management. Timetables were often very very late as was marking but in the whole the staff were friendly and approachable and I think they’ve made me into a good doctor.

Really nice I like it a lot, and I'm not just saying that for a donut. Course is abit challenging but the people make it worth while.

I am an Erasmus student and I'm included in the university as if I was a local student. That criteria is important for international students.

expencise but useful The campus might not be the most beautiful, but the facilities are very good. The library is huge with loads of seating (this is a big deal!) and the gym is really goo

Very nice, although some buildings are quite old fashioned. A lot of space for studying, including 24/7 facilities, and overall a nice area with good staff.

Great lectures and lecturers, buildings are well maintained and modern, everyone is friendly, libraries are great and well stocked. Only negatives are not enough contact hours and expensive rent.

University of Bristol is a very good university that I really enjoy. My course is very good but I believe that Bristol can provide more courses such as Business and Nursing. The Student Union is really involved in being the voice for students. The campus is a mix of old and new however a medical school will be nice. Careers service are exceptionally good and provide a lot of help for future prospects.

The university campus is wonderful as it is in the city centre and therefore extremely convenient to get to but also surrounded by a variety of shops and places to eat. The course I take has been well organised so far, and I look forward to seeing how it continues.

Good facilities and improvements are being made where needed. The staff are very supportive and try to help as best they can.

Awesome location, epic nightlife. Easy to get out and into the trails and the countryside, and the food is hard to beat too. Teaching is incredible.

My university has an extremely high standard of teaching and is well equipped for research. However they need to invest more in mental health for students.

The course I'm doing now (Law) can be too demanding at times. We have 5 modules, whereas other top universities have fewer modules than we do. This tends to create a lot of stress and I don't understand why we need so many modules. The student union is really supportive and it's good. The careers service is also very good at what they do and I personally use this service a lot and it was very helpful.

Cool beans, great uni. I've had a great time so far. Lectures are great, people are great. The uni really cares about us students. Student union is alright I guess, only hear from them when it's election time. Sports facilities are alright I guess. Wish there was more merchandise to purchase. Tons of sports and clubs available. City is beautiful, just don't live down the hill. Walking up to lecture at 9am is a PITA. Overall, 8/8 gr8 m8

The university building are located on a precinct which feels very communal and welcoming, it is conveniently located near shops and bars and so everything is on your door step
