it works hard for student wellbeing and the campus is always well managed as well as the courses being good

My accommodation is quite far but genreally it's really nice. People are so friendly and hospitable. The core program is good with a lot of necessary facilities and helpful staffs. The careers service are so nice which helps me a lot.

Campus' is really nice and with lots of cool buildings. Careers service is really good particarly for law and overall facilities are good. Student union is okay, can't say I know anyone who goes there though. Law is an interesting course but it is tough, and sometimes difficult to balance, one particular downfall is that law students don't get a reading week. The staff are generally really nice and helpful however a few bad eggs

I am a disabled student and I do not receive adequate care. I also believe that some of the personal tutors do not put an effort into aiding their students through the university course.

Bristol university isn't an incredible place to learn and have fun. The teaching is at an incredibly high standard, with praised international academics. Although the university is not a campus university, it still has the same feeling - and it means you get to explore more of this exciting and bustling city. I would fully recommend to anyone considering their university choices

An excellent uni, in an amazing city. Everywhere is in walking distance but big enough to feel like a proper city. Uni provides a lot of support for each individual student and there is a lot of opportunities for research.

University of Bristol is a university which has a huge variety of societies, sports clubs and events run by the SU. A beautiful city to live in with many places to visit from museums and cinemas to the harbourside for a lovely walk.

Bristol Uni really has something for everyone. I've found it really easy to make friends and avoid people I may not like because it's so big. The best thing about Bristol is the city, It's such a cool city to live in as a young person and there's always something to do. You're pushed academically but the uni still has a fun feel.

Lovely campus, has a small feel but is quite big. Facilities are great, highlight is wills memorial building. Law is generally well taught, interesting lecturers.

Bristol uni is great for students who want to study at a top university without sacrificing their social life. The nightlife in Bristol is great and it is home to one of the best clubs in the country, Motion. As a city Bristol is vibrant and exciting, with pretty much everything within walking distance. The university sports teams do very well in BUCS and Bristol graduates are consistently targeted by top employers. However, the university often struggles to deal with mental health issues and the facilities and resources provided are not enough. Similarly the administration is often lacking in promptness with issues regarding examinations and general university life. Overall though it is a great place to study.

The campus space is absolutely maxing, really positive work environment and plenty of places to work in quite areas. I am studying film and I enjoy everyday of my course, the teachers and lecturers have a lot of time for individual students which is key as one on one time is really important. The facilities are excellent and using industry level cameras allows us to have a up to date knowledge of the industry when we go into it ourselves.

Great campus very vibrant and friendly! Love the interaction between different subjects, so we can get a mix of students joining in on the activities the student union plans for us!

Generally an excellent place. The university is really letting itself down by changing pastoral care system. It will really destroy the halls experience, and the overall experience. Mental health provisions are also unacceptable.

I completed my Masters from UoB in Wireless Communications and Signal Processing in 2012-13. It was an intensive course with 13 examinations, 11 were written, 1 coursework and 1 dissertation. It was a great experience over all although I felt I would have benefited more with more labs and semester exam pattern instead of 11 exams in less than a month.

Yeah, it's pretty good. The strike really messed things up this term, but my tutors have done their best to pull it back. Some of the facilities could be better, but overall it's been great.

I really enjoyed the university, it's not a full on campus so you don't feel like you're living in a bubble, the city always has stuff going on. There's a society for anything you're interested in and the teaching was really interesting. I would definitely recommend it.

A really great university, at least for science subjects. Have a lot of fun learning Neuroscience! I was sure that I will hate pharmacology unit, but the lecturers and structure of this unit made me fell in love with it. Although, there are a few lecturers that upload tasks one day before we need to check it or some that don't say what we really need to learn, so we have to learn about 20 new drugs each lecture just to be safe.

My favourite things about Bristol are the many events put on - the talks especially are of high quality and are really informative! It also has heaps of places to study that range from silent to more cafe areas where you can discuss things. The campus is spread out with lots of green places to relax and have a break :)

Student union not the best but otherwise great uni. Campus in perfect location and quality of courses is amazing.

The University of Bristol is such a fun and diverse place to study, with the city always being full of life and things to do! The campus and buildings are really nice places to work in and there’s always a place to go no matter what type of work or socialising you want to do. Although the students union doesn’t have that active a role in uni life, the amount of clubs and societies to join is huge and definitely something for everyone!

Overall good experience but an annoying issue with the uni gym facilities. They have been relocated for the final 2 months of uni to a tiny hall with limited facilities. I already paid for this in advance and was not warned at the time.

The campus is a perfect mixture of city and campus university. There is a feeling of independence that you don't find in other places. It's big enough to feel adult, yet the halls experience keeps you very well connected. The nightlife is the best, and the clubs and societies are run amazingly well. The teaching is of a good standard but lacks the support necessary. The University would improve if they upped the support available. The SU is not used and is not in a convenient place. Which is a shame. The career services are helpful. It is a beautiful place, Bristol however is a lot more expensive than other cities.

History course is good, though lacks depth. As a Russell group, you have to do a lot of research yourself and this includes research projects in first year. Library access superb, campus very nice and inclusive

The Politics school is excellent with lots of additional talks on and coffee mornings with staff. There is so much on offer careerwise as well as further education and support. The economics school on the other hand is somewhat lacking in support and far less flexible. The events aren’t advertised as well and there is less opportunity to speak to lecturers and fewer office hours.
