Overall a great uni for anyone and everyone. They tailor to a lot of subjects and the extra curricular activities and facilities on board help keep your mind going in your spare time.

Overall, the university is fantastic, however there are parts of the university which bring the review down. For instance, the lack of counseling and mental health services for students is awful (considering our vice chancellor is paid the most in the country) and the brand new Sport and Fitness centre - though state of the art - favours certain sports and ignores a number of sports e.g. cricket.

Uni of Birmingham is a great uni and the campus is really lovely. Recently a lot have improvements have been done to campus, including a new library with much more study space and an amazing new sports centre which caters for nearly every sport.

The campus of the university if Birmingham is very pretty and have really old buildings making it beautiful to look at. They are making a new green area where the old library is which will.make the uni look outstanding. We have great sports facilities for all sports.

I had an incredible experience at the University of Birmingham. So incredible in fact, I'm still here six years later. The campus is beautiful, they're upgrading facilities all the time, the teaching is excellent and the standard of research they produce is world-class. The reason this review is 4 stars instead of 5, is that there can be a lack of communication to students about upcoming changes to the University, and occasionally it seems students only look like pound signs rather than actual people. But if I have to get into serious debt to go to University, I'm glad it was at Birmingham.

The campus is really pretty. Just renovated the central green space which is great. The city isn't the prettiest but it's an hour train away from London and very very central in the UK. The organisation of things on campus is also very good, there's a uni page consisting of everyone at the uni.

During my time here there has been a lot of construction work but apart from that he campus has got to be one of the nicest looking university campuses. Once completed it will look even better. There has been a lot of money spent to improve campus while I have been here. The new sports centre is 100 x better than the previous one. It is much bigger and has a lot more facilities. There are lots of new places to study now which I feel was needed since before there was never enough seats in the library. I also like that you can check online how full each place is. One thing I can say is that a lot of things on campus are too expensive. Things like food are very overpriced and gym memberships do not include classes or anything else which all work out to be expensive.

My time at the university of Birmingham has been incredible- an upcoming raw city, with a tight student group, and ever growing pedigree and academic status- amazing.

The nightlife and the course is incredible, the living is amazing as everyone is so close and you form a tight community of friends who are ride or die. We never explore the city which is the problem but thats our fault not the unis.

I have enjoyed my time at birmingham university so far. I do believe there is something for everyone at this uni so everyone is able to get something out of it. I mostly spend time in the medical school which can do a lot more organisation

Generally a good University. A very beautiful campus considering it is in Birmingham. Birmingham itself is a great and vibrant city- a bit run down in places but can say the same for a lot of cities. I don't feel I got complete value for money in terms of teaching but overall enjoyed my time there

Pretty campus and friendky people. The best thing is probably the train station right at the campus and the central location of Birmingham for visiting other cities

The university puts a lot of attention in student employability and providing opportunitiea for its students' development. The facilities are quite good, with the exception of the lack of study spaces in the library. The Guild of students is very passionate and triea their best to cater to everyone on campus. Night life is also blossoming.

Lots of new facilities planned/being built around campus right now such as a brad new library and sports centre which are modern, spacious and state of the art. Picturesque campus with great facilities. The student union is brilliant with lots going on all the time, tons of societies to join and great student services. Course in general was fairly unorganised however the content was very interesting. Careers services are extremely helpful and provide you with some great information.

Campus library has been recently newly developed. Very good facilities but lacking in space with more demand than seats available. New green area adds to the prettiness of campus. Medicine has its own building close to the university station, which is very conveniently located. Course is very demanding in volume of knowledge required with less emphasis on quality of knowledge compared to quantity.

Beautiful campus, but priorities wrong. 27 thousand for a banner but only 2k library seats for 30k students??

Campus facilities are fantastic, especially the new library. There's work spaces in very building with varying facilities so there's somewhere to suit everyone's learning style. Library support could be better advertised with more workshops and academic support services offered.

The university has excellent facilities. Always looking on ways to improve their students experiences, by investing highly into developments on campus. Extremely well taught modules and lecturers are always happy to help.

A great university with tonnes of social activities to do. The campus has a range of shops and eatries for the students.

Yeah the campus is very nice just taking some time for the green space to be finished but the lecture theatres are good, overall just good experience.

I've really enjoyed my time here having been studying at UoB for 4 years. I love that it is a campus uni as it gives a really student feel and it's great that the student village Selly Oak is just on the edge of campus. The facilities are good and there have been a lot of developments going on. However it does seem like it's more style over substance. For example the new library is lovely but seating is limited and it's too small for such a large university.

Gorgeous campus with great facilities, always plenty of career and social events, the academics are always ready to help when necessary, so happy that I chose this uni

My experience at University of Birmingham has been amazing. I love my course and have learnt so much more than expected in only my first year. My only complaint is regarding facilities, the library and study spaces just are not sufficient during exam season. Over all though, I think it’s great!

Love the university, such a nice atmosphere all the time! The lecturers and tutors are all really approachable and offer you all the support you need. The only thing I would change is the way you choose your modules, I think they should offer a two week taster session into the modules you choose, as I have been stuck in a module that I have disliked all year which makes it difficult to stay motivated.
