Football Women'S

In my first 3 years of university the club was ran really well. We had loads of new equipment and kit. My last year it was not so great. The SU was poorly ran, we had games cancelled and rearranged the day of the game with no notice. Quite poor really

The first years at university on the women’s football team were great but the team went downhill quickly. The team was full of power hungry students that threw their weight around to intimidate New and old players. When reported and issues brought to light by the new players to our student union, our student union disregarded any claims made. The university did nothing about the bullying that went on during this time. I, as a fresher could not stand being part of a team and student union that allowed this sort of behaviour to go on. I did not want to return to uni as I felt so uncomfortable. The student union is absolutely terrible. They are all useless. They do not help you at all. We paid so much money for manky kit, unorganised games due to the captains and loss of equipment.
