UAL is located in the centre of London meaning it's a great place to be based if you want to see as many exhibitions as possible. I like the fact that even within the uni there's always lots of art events going on. The library is amazing and the wealth of resources we have is great to do all my research for projects. However , I find the fact that it is solely an art uni means it's in some ways narrow minded and I expected more of a uni feeling than I got. Everyone's vocation is art so there isn't much want for the same amount of clubs and societies that other unis have to offer. I think that if your vocation is art as well, then it is a haven of like-minded people but if you have other passions, this might not be the best place for you.

Good uni in the sense it has amazing connections, and is worth it if you are the type of individual who is very self motivated. This is because you do not have much contact time.

The facilities and data bases available are of high standard and careers services are opportunistic. The student union could be better as there is little events or cheap union bars to go to. We are open to high level lecturers and individuals from industry to help develop our future careers.

The facilities are really good, and with good security. A good variety of courses and easy access workshops. It is constantly being updated, and therefore can seem a bit caotic at times.
