Women's Football

The keele womens football team is a long running team at keele university, and attracts more and more girls each year. They are very welcoming and supportive of players of all abilities, encouraging beginners to join and give them opportunity to practise at a competitive level as part of the keele futsal team. This encourages more girls to start and continue with a sport which is one of the teams main aims! The coaches are generally students who have been chosen by the clubs committee, and have always been very experienced and respectful of the team. It is unfortunate that they dont have enough funding to pay for professional coaches, however the students who do coach do so very well. The team are also very supportive if players have personal problems, for example players over the past few years have come out as transgender, but the team have continued to be very welcoming and supportive of these players. Overall this team is a very rounded and welcoming team who play football to a good standard.

Good group of girls and love soccercise. Would recommend anyone to join a team to make friends and it makes your uni life so much better
