University of Abertay Dundee

Welcoming people and fun activities, lit of bars and clubs to go to , everyone was friendly and plenty to do and join in

My Freshers experience was so much fun. It is the reason that I have met my best friends at university. The first night I was there I attended a bbq arranged by the university and this was great. There was also a great mixture of groups and activities you could get involved with.

When I first came to Dundee I was shocked by the fact that this University does not provide actual events for freshers' week, which was a little bit of a shame given that they were useful for knowing other people. If there were events, they were poorly organised, not mentioned anywhere online and for these reasons they were scarcely attended by students and useless for the true purpose of this week: creating a community. Very deluded by that overall. However Freshers Fair was quite good, in terms of organisation. Still not as big and exciting as the University of Dundee one, but some things were interesting as well.

Scary to move away but freshers week was amazing!! Free or discounted entries for clubs, cheap drinks, great for meeting new people, music is amaZing

Not alot happend no events and had to go to dundee universitys Freshers week instead overall was a disappointment and really poor considering the facilities available.
