eSports

The Esports society for Sheffield Hallam is brilliant. It's a well organised society that regularly runs social events ranging from casual meet ups at local pubs to more sporty-based activities such as Ice Skating. Also, the staff who run this societ are easy to contact and make new members feel welcomed despite this often being difficult for a society that doesn't necessarily require members to meet up in person. Furthermore, the society is involved in competitions across the nation and in numerous games, my favourite being Rocket League. Everything considered, I would definitely recommend the Esports society for any individual interested in becoming involved in competitive gaming whilst at university :)
