Good uni especially in sporting subjects. Tutors come from broad range of backgrounds allowing for diverse range in information and strategy towards independent projects. Overall pretty good

Sheffield Hallam is a community as well as a university. It's aim is not only to get the best results but also to create well rounded individuals. The career opportunities, support and different academic choices give everyone the chance to turn into the person they want to be.

Good sense of community with kind and helpful tutors and lecturers. The facilities are always clean especially the wudhu areas, prayer rooms and the bathrooms on both campuses.

amazing facilities and supportive staff across the university. I have enjoyed my postgraduate course more here than my previous university as I have felt more incorporated into the student life style and like it was more of a professional relationship with staff rather than a student staff relationship

Good practical learning and helpful academics. Great to have the option of a placement year and lots of support with employability. Good food served at the Union.

Welcoming university, buildings and campus facilities are great - modern, spacious and easy to get around. The lecture rooms can be undersized for the class and sometimes hot. Facilities around campus are great - lots of cafes, the library is excellent - overall really good.

Hallam is a great university. Also lots to do around the city and each campus! Tutors and support services are also great. Students come from all over to study at Hallam which allows you to meet some truly amazing people.

Absolutely great university. Have had such a great few months starting out here, not only just thanks to the incredible course structure and tutors but just the city and the people themselves. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

My time at Sheffield Hallam has been great. You feel a part of one big family both with the students and tutors. I have received great support from my tutors in both a academic and personal settings when I needed some help. I can't recommend Sheffield Hallam enough, I can't believe my 4 years are nearly up.

Lovely, warm and welcoming university, I live my time here. Lovely location. Great facilities for sports and lots of society's and clubs. Food is great. Lectures and seminars great and engaging. Lots of access to scholarships and bursary's. The student union is nice but bland comparably to other universities.

Amazing University with great lecturers and you feel like you're part of a community. The support network is also great most of the time

The students union is good and has a restaurant and cafe, however it could be improved through planning more student nights and extending the students union more.

I think that Sheffield Hallam University is a great University for resources and gaining a wider insight as to the practice of Law and how we can gain important contacts within the legal profession. The Law school has its own law firm which us students can participate in the running of the law firm and give advice to members of the public in Sheffield. The topic modules chosen by the faculty have been exactly what I expected and have therefore helped me progress my understanding further.

It's a very good university, very friendly and welcoming. I am taught to a high standard and am constantly achieving high grades because of this. I can't imagine studying anywhere else. It meets all my needs in every way.

This university is very homely and welcoming. It provides great support for those with additional learning requirements such as myself. The campus is easy to navigate and the staff are all very friendly. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a student at Hallam and I will be sad to leave next summer.

Very good university, great experience and met a lot of great people! Sometimes the lectures are questionable but overall a great time. The two campuses are great with city being refurbished constantly and collegiate being s more traditional style, the sports facilities are also great with everything you need from running tracks to 3G football pitches and badminton tennis courts and all sports facilities. The gym is also a very good quality with very friendly and informative staff with great knowledge. So overall Sheffield Hallam university is a great university majority of the time with excellent facilities in the heart of Sheffield and would recommend to anyone.

The city campus is excellent to commute to, near the train station, bus station and local tram lines. The buildings are clearly labelled with names however there are no signposts directing you to where these buildings are if you do not already know. The early years and primary education course is very well run with knowledgeable staff. The placements were good however some were very far to travel, this system seems to have been improved this year.

Brand new facilities which are easy to access! Friendly staff on primary Ed where nothing is too much trouble! The student union has lots of events and nights for entertainment! The food is great on campus especially on student Wednesdays where everything is £1 every couple of months! Hallam varsity is so much fun!

I enjoyed the course and felt like lecturers had a broad knowledge on the subject they were teaching. I felt like there wasn't a big community spirit at university for people who didn't live in halls and that often we would be forgotten about as university staff would only really talk about living in halls. Overall enjoyed the course though.

I am in my third year at Sheffield Hallam based on the collegiate campus, the campus is modern and easy to navigate. The library has plenty of books and computers which has been very helpful for me. One negative to this campus is the parking which is a nightmare but that is the council not the uni and there is park and ride options available from meadowhall and hillsbrough. A big part of my course involves placements which I have been lucky enough to enjoy each area I have been in and when I required support it was available from the university and placement area.

The university has very good and modern facilities which make it an ideal learning environment. As a modern university, Sheffield Hallam has a lot to offer extra-curricular wise. Some of its best assets are its societies and sports clubs. These are all run through the student union which again has good facilities fit for all students needs including the coffee hut, hideout bar and student help desk.
