A great fun week different from a lot of unis, not just primarily drinking. For instance, the uni rents out Thorpe Park for an evening so there's no queues! We also get to do Blingo or Crazy Golf. However there is only 1 club night in the 6 days which is disappointing but the uni does change the student union into a 'club' which is great fun and easy to get to! Lots of chances for day meetings to meet people like yourself, for instance other off campus people. It makes the whole process a lot easier and is also fun at the same time!

I found freshers week a great experience. There were lots of staff to help out on the days and everyone was really friendly.

Move in was well organized, different events for different preference was good. A lot of people to help. Great experience to meet new people, whether it was in queues or at the actual event. Variety of night and day events.

Freshers week included several nights of heavy drinking, a trip to Thorpe park after hours and a freshers fair with loads of freebies. There was a huge amount on in the day and Thorpe park wasn't quite what we expected; there were no queues but only a few rides were actually open. It's over priced but a good way to meet people.
