Dance

The dance society feels like one big family. We compete in multiple styles, including contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop. While relatively new, it's nice to be able to contribute to the competition piece, as you feel like it's a piece that belongs to the team as a whole. The studio is great - spacious with mirrors and windows. Every month is Hail Mary - the biggest sporting event on campus. And various other socials are always organised - to be honest, if anyone else from dance soc is free, they'll tend to meet up with you just for fun. We compete in several university competitions, but the highlight of the society is our annual dance show, where you can choreograph your own piece and perform it. Dance show is AMAZING. Watching everyone in their element doing what they love is so inspiring. We also have a lap dance routine. ;)
