Nottingham trents freshers week is amazing! If you live in halls, there are reps to show you the facilities and where to go over the events of that week. I am beyond excited to experience it again next year!

Lots and lots of clubs to choose from. Lots of hidden bars to find each with a unique vibe. Always busy but need to know what places are best for certain nights.

Very easy, certain events turned out to be rip offs but a good week. Move in very easy and freshers reps very helpful

It’s was very well planned and the nights out were amazing. There downside was that there were not many fun events for non-drinking stundents (not that this effected me) and there were lectures on during this fisrt week which was not ideal. However, I did have a lot of fun

Meeting new people was great. The reps were amazing and created fun games for us. There was an event each day which helped us to socialise however I did have lectures during freshers week which was not fun.

Freshers in Nottingham is defiantly worthwhile, events we're planned every night for over a week with lots of different events. The university itself put plenty on so that you could enroll easily and ask any questions regarding the course or accomdation. Everyone was super friendly and organised in freshers week making it a less stressful period. Even without the plans event freshers week will be what you make it, plenty of nightlife in the city always something going on in the day.

Freshers allowed me to meets lots of new people and make lots of new friends , that otherwise I would have never been in touch with.

Students was very helpful moving in and was very efficient. However the organisation of freshers week was not very good. Reps would walk into your flats without permission and try to make you do the certain events, some was very good on the city campus like the beach party and climax but the Clifton events were boring and a lot to be desired

Overall my freshers week was an amazing experience but definitely over-hyped. The thing that helped the most was the groupchats which were created by students long before arrival, it also allowed us to make friends before going out. As a student who planned to live parents, this helped me break the ice.

Fresher's week is scary, especially when you do not enjoy the uni culture of clubbing and drinking. But do not fear as long as you take a chance and make sure you come out of your room and talk to people you will still make friends. You do not have to change for uni I didn't and I've still got a house with people for next year. I have made really good friends it is not all about freshers week. Also go out during the day to events on if you don't enjoy the night time ones.

Moving into Byron NTU accommodation with the help of the many volunteers there made the experience less stressful. The use of older student freshers reps allowed a smooth transition into uni life, the organisation of the reps helped with the meeting of new people as well a week of amazing events.

Very enjoyable, you bond well with your flat mates. It's very easy to meet new people, all you have to do is go to events. Everyone is in the same boat as you, they all want to make new friends.

Overall the week was an amazingly experience. The freshers reps helped out lots and looked after us well. The events that were in place not just in the night but throughout the day were really entertaining and made me feel incredibly excited for the city I'll be living in and the university. Moving in and meeting new people wasn't as scary experience as I thought it would have been and I've met the best people whilst being here. Meeting the lecturers and course leaders was especially lovely. I think what helped me the most was moving in fairly earlier than everyone else else to get to know the city before freshers. As I went fore private halls, I had the option of moving in a lot earlier.

My experience of freshers week was great. I met loads of amazing people who I am still friends with. The freshers reps were so fun and informative on nights out and made the whole experience so much better. Moving in was so easy and took no time at all.

Freshers week will hands down be the best week of your university life. It may seem daunting at first as you probably don't know anyone and are new to it all but once the drinks are flowing and the games get going, you will honestly make friends for life. Freshers is a non stop party and a really good way to start off first year! + remember, you only need 40% to pass so why not make it freshers year!

Moving in we were helped by a number of freshers team reps to ensure that we could unload all of our belongings into our new accommodation. I found this very welcoming and it enable me to get settled in right away! The night events were planned well and the freshers reps got us all to go out each night which helped with meeting new people. Overall, the experience was fun.

The wristband was not worth the money it costs as most nights are at the student union. I was under the impression that all themed nights were in the city clubs. Bar crawl was very unorganised which caused us to be walking round the city for half the time and not been guarenteed entry once we had got there. Freshers events were organised during the same week that social events were occuring so some people felt it was difficult to manage them both.

Freshers week at Nottingham Trent University was incredible! There was a large range of varied activities for everyone to get involved with, and the the Freshers Reps were a great help. They moved all my stuff in for me and looked after me on nights out during the week - and it's a voluntary role!

Freshers was very useful in meeting new people and firming your friendships, it allowed me to stay free and more sociable especially knowing everyone was in the same boat as me. We had a set calendar of events every night with allocated themes which was really useful because we could plan our nights out. For future freshers I would say not to worry about the first week everyone is at their more social peak and very friendly; enjoy your time and make the most out of it.!

It was a great week, with the university holding lit events at their Student Union. Cheap drinks and good music for sure
