History Society

Having been a member of the history society for 3 years, the quality of the socials have gone down. I feel the club is social scene isn't adequate and the history department have organised far better socials this year. They haven't had adequate communication with the facebook group and haven't organised enough free drinking and non-drinking events.

Great at encouraging students of varying interests to interact with one another, be that in a social, evening drinking session, or a day trip to one of the many fantastic museums in the locality.

This society is fantastic because it brings together everyone on the history course in a sociable way which allows you to meet people with similar interests. The society runs tonnes of events both academic and just plain social and also holds two balls a year. It is well equipped and has a good logo. It also provides you with information often through face book and other social media which is really great!
