There was incidents of spiking which made us all a bit wary of how much we were drinking and who we trusted.

Everyone was so nice and helpful, no matter if staff or students. I loved the diversity of the Freshers Events offered, there was something there for everyone. The only things I didn't quite like were a) that at parties you couldn't leave and come back because they wouldn't let you back in again and b) that all the major events were really expensive and tickets to be bought separately.

The events were very good that the university itself put on however they were expensive as each event was laid for separately. General Falmouth nightlife was okay but nothing great. The move in experience was good and was helped by student ambassadors. Meeting flat mates and other people was enjoyable. One tip would be to socialise as much as possible in the first week or two and keeping your door open allows freindships to form.

Event tickets were overpriced and although the drinks deals are always good it felt a bit drab at times.

My freshers wasn’t that great - I spent most of my time in my room not really talking to anyone. The few events that were on were ok but the day events were not very constructive in allowing people from the same course etc to meet

I met loads of new people during freshers week and there was a large range of free activities as well as the 3 parties on campus.

Bit of a weird Freshers, I didn't go out that much and we just had lectures and inductions for our course so I didn't have much time to meet new people in other activities. But now I have amazing friends, Freshers is really not important at all!!

Events were alright. Made some good memories and friends just getting drunk every night with no stress of work yet.
