Freshers was fab, got to meet so many new people and make lots of new friends. We did so many events like pub crawls and bar events, we was out every night for a week! Only issue was it with intro week meaning a night out often had a morning seminar.

Freshers week in total was really well organised, we could access tickets for events at the hub and it was well brought together!

Fun, exciting, get to meet new people and socialise, best week of university. I recommend students to go out during this week as they find new people that could eventually become close friends.

I wish the uni would do the freshers week like every week because it was awesome. I would also implement one more thing that we have in my country (Portugal), instead of the freshers being only 1 week it should be separated in events Trough the whole 1st year, also the uni should have events to bring people from the same course together

There was alot of events to attend. Alot of events to meet new people by completing little group tasks, participating in sport etc. For the new students, make the best out of your freshers as later their is little chance to repeat.

My move in experience was simple and my housemates were nice. The freshers events were decent as their were many events! However the city centre was abit mehhh and there were not many variety of shops in the got centre. However the city is becoming better and their are many more places to eat and They also have opened a Korean bbq restaurant which is great for Korean good or kpop lovers! Meeting new people can be tricky for my course as everyone was quite quite and cliqy however joining societies help to increase friends and to have a more sociable life in university. I think what makes university the best experience is by joining societies that you like and to try your best in your academics. If you get a good class degree you'll be able to get into postgraduate course and apply for placements and internships etc easier. Thank you and good luck peeps x

The overall experience was great, it was really easy to eat along with everyone and everyone at the university was helpful giving me advice on my course etc. When talking about freshers week it was very exciting and fun I would say, I made a lot of friends and nice people o be around with. During that week I had a lot of fun which I wasn’t expecting, I wasn’t expecting it to be that great but I must say I was overwhelmed.

Freshers was really good. We went to all the events and had an amazing times. There was time when not all people knew what was going on with some events but then that all got cleared up in time for the events meaning that we was able to go and enjoy it. I recommend freshers week for anyone looking to start uni that hasn’t already

I met all my friend for life at freshers and we are the best of friends. It was different from what I ever experience before as I came from abroad to study here . I didn’t know what to expect but it hit all my expectations and it made me fall in love with london all over again .

My time at Coventry University was unbelievable, before making the move from my home town to Coventry I was was nervous, anxious and more so scared. After walking it through the front door of my new flat and meeting my flatmates, I instantly felt at ease. What's more was the first day of freshers week when a friendly second year came and introduced herself as Rachel. Rachel passed me over a LONG list of activities happening over the coming week and I was sold! I had made the right decision, cov was for me!
