Islamic Society

The society has whatsapp groups to allow them to have better communication. They send us notifications on upcoming events and prayer times which is very useful as not many people glance at posters anymore. The first event was the freshers event where you get to meet many people that do the same course as you and they can help you throughout the year. The most recent event was Charity Week which we raised money for the needy. We set up a stall throughout the week near to the canteen where we sold meal deals, cakes etc. The organisation itself is very organised and will do there utmost to help you out. Some

The society is very good at bringing in people and helping them socialise with people of all year groups. These can range from first year to even post graduates! The activities and events they host also help the members learn more about their religion as well as introducing them to new speakers
