An amazing kick start to a new chapter of life. Facilities and environment is brilliant, would definitely recommend people to start their university here!

Cardiff University is great and I would 100% recommend anyone coming here to study. The university is extremely close to the town centre, which makes it very convenient. The university gym is great and has all the equipment required and the student union provides any support necessary.

Began at Cardiff university in September 2018 to study Children and young People’s Nursing! So far I am loving the course and have learnt so much already. I have done a mixture of lectures, seminars and practical lessons within the university. Each providing me with the skills and knowledge needed to be a children’s nurse. Along with spending 9 weeks on placement on a children’s hospital ward. This was incredible and made me feel like I have chosen the right career path for me. The staff are all really lovely and approachable and I have made a great number of close friends.

Cardiff University is invested in research. It is constantly looking to improve facilities and expand the horizons of undergraduate courses by offering and encouraging involvement in many areas of research. There are a diversity of student led societies supported by the Student Union. Involvement of students coming to university and their introduction to these societies is particularly facilitated by the 'Give it a Go' scheme. University Halls are varied in the experience offered and location around the city. This is well suited to the large area which the University buildings are spread across. There are also a large range of options, from quiet to single sex living. Cardiff University School of Optometry has particular prowess in research and education. It has state of the art facilities available to students throughout the three year Optometry course offered by the University.

I love my course (phyiotherapy) and think the university offers great facilities including a number of 24 hour libraries, a range of sports and societies to join, great nights out and a good understanding of the mix needed between a social life and work at university.

Had the best 4 year at Cardiff University, could not have asked for better. The university halls although were small were the wildest place, and a perfect environment to make friends. loved my undergraduate so much so that I am doing a postgraduate currently and I don't want university to end

CARDIFF university is an amazing university, as you can have the campus feel in a city. This enables you to have more independence and a sense of empowerment as you are living alone and the world is your oyster. But you are not alone and amongst the societal norms of going to eat out at restaurants and wearing the best clothes, as it is dominantly a student city, so everyone can live the student life and have fun! The students union has been voted the best students union in the UK, as it puts the students needs first. It is very friendly and accessible and has a wide range of societies and is always welcome to people starting up new ones! The student support team is certainly excellent as I know so many people who have benefited from it, and they are extremely understanding with certain life events effecting your degree and ability to succeed. My course is philosophy, and I absolutely love it, the modules, the lecturers everything!

My course is highly enjoyable! The lecturers are very helpful. There are lots of societies and opportunities for all including sports, languages, mentoring opportunities.

The past four years i've spent ar cardiff uni have without doubt been the happiest time of my life. The location, facilities, events and absolutely everything else about it could not be better. i've made unforgettable memories and met incredible friends which will remain with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Cardiff for making me the person I am today.

Amazing university definitely glad that I choose to go here. Have been supportive throughout my course and the level of teaching is absolutely impeccable. Regularly have the opportunity to gain work experience and complete pro bono work in order to better prepare me for when I come to leave university. Variety of societies and clubs mean that there is something for everyone and I really couldn't imagine going somewhere else.

I absolutely love being a student at Cardiff Univeristy! It's an amazing city with a great university. When I first started, the university were super helpful with getting us enrolled and sorted for the year. I study medicine and it's such a great course, I've had some great experiences. The Students Union is great fun and always have varied events on. When I've required extra help, there's lots of support services on offer which have been a great benefit.

Campus is nice to walk around and all the staff are really friendly. The student union is really useful and always have really good events on.

Great university, top level education, great lecturers that look out for the students, great support, great student life.

Brilliant campus all within walking distance of the student area and everything is very accessible. Libraries are all brilliant, especially the assl and science library. Staff are all very friendly too and happy to help whenever needed.

Everything so far has been lovely. The lectures are engaging and encourage me to learn more. LOVE BURRITO BROTHERS!

Great University, full of everything to maintain enjoyment and give you every opportunity to do your best with your chosen degree.

Very food location of uni buildings Students union is outdated however is undergoing redevelopment The staff have always been extremely quick in replying to any concerns or inquiries I have had

An amazing place to study with loads and loads of facilities for students. Extracurricular activities are amaxing and the cafeteria is also so good filled with different varieties of food. It's a nice place to be at because it has multicultured students which makes it even more interesting. Me as an international student, chose Cardiff only because the city is small and compact and has many interesting things.

Great staff that have an in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. Excellent support from personal tutor and always replies quickly

The facilitaties at the SU are great, and there is building taking place at the moment for further development. A Co-op, Hairdressers, IT store, Bookshop, Coffee Shop and more all at the convenience to students.

The university has good teaching facilities. Lecturers are very well prepared to engage with students. Best uni for student living and education.

The university experience is great, with proximity to city centre and transport facilities. Moreover, the entertainment facility is sufficient.

The uni is well organised, i love the online timetable and the facilities provided inc. the prayer rooms

The campus has recently been renovated so now the canteen has loads of different foods- all very affordable too! There's always improvements going on within the university and new schemes to help students too
