Buckinghamshire New University

The campus itself has various aspects to it, the newest building being the Gateway which is a mixture of glass and modern design. The other wings in the building have more of a 1950's primary school feel. The course I undergo is the Universities specialty, otherwise it's amongst the bottom tier for all other mainstream courses.

Nice campus and good facilities; espically for music. The SU is good and holds good events throughout the year. Good careers and student services.

Bucks New University is a very promising place filled with many talented and skilled students, taking form in a range of different fields from dance to law. The uni prides itself on it's safe space habitat, known as the 2nd safest university/town for students, however one of it's biggest flaws is it's budget which unfortunately can scale down the potential of many.

Really good animation and visual effects course but when there's a technical problem it can take a while to get fixed

Very unorganized this year due to staff storages and sickness. Lectures have been changed last minute and classes are in much much larger groups.

The campus is clean and tidy making it feel very warm and inviting, it has an amazing night life with a buzzing town around it and local towns offering good night life. The help from applying all the way up to first year has been really inviting . Support is a big thing at this university.

really enjoyed my time at bucks uni. lecturers are mostly supportive when it comes to getting help and there’s always something going on in the student union, i really liked the fact that there was a lot of different societies and i even had a chance to join a horse riding society in my final year which i really enjoyed and make it easier to balance my studies as well as having time to socialise.

The facilities for my course are amazing, and the opportunities given to me will help me build a valuable career. The Library and the video editing suites being open 24 hours is very helpful for me doing assignments.

The campus is well maintained and located close to shops, restaurants, accommodation and nightlife! The campus has recently undergone an extension which houses the four floor library, a big selling point to some! I am studying a creative course and it is very useful to me that there are many facilities such as workshops, industry experts and contacts with other courses. The student union is great with a wide variety of people to help and advice you! There main goal is also getting students involved as rep and councillors, as a rep I would fully recommend stepping forward for one of these rolls as it boosts confidence and helps make a change.

Excellent amount of facilities for my course and very experienced tutors from the film industry yet they treat us as if we are as advanced as they are.

Good tech, bad lecturers. Very bad communication, and a lack of passion from lecturers. Such a let down as there is potential for great teaching, just a lack of interest in it.

The facilities are excellent, incredible access to the latest technology. However let down by impassionate lecturers and poor communication.

The campus is slightly bland but that’s due to it being situated in a town centre, a grass area would be fantastic for an escape. The course I’m studying is fantastic, it’s clever the way in which it makes you explore yourself and society. The student union is good, it has a range of nights that they host and they put so much effort into it.

The university provides amazing experiences for the students. Both UK and foreign. It puts effort to provide as many activities as possible, free of charge or at a very cheap price. The university has a student union in which all students participate. Either work, volunteer work, or just a night out with friends. The education system in university is one of the best in the UK as it provides a lot of activities for the students, related to their course. The campus is located in High Wycombe, which is a fairly small town, but the opportunities are big. Many students who graduate, become successful in the variety of industries that they have been exploring during their education. Personally, as a foreign student (bulgarian), I couldn't be happier, because I have so many opportunities and have already met such amazing and influential personas, have established great contacts with people in different industries of my study (Event and Festival Management). Overall Buckinghamshire New University is the best thing that has happened to me, because of the massive support I receive from lecturers and staff and friends and I work harder everyday to one day become successful .

Good university that offers any help needed for every student. This could be with work, how to revise, learning disabilities etc. The campus itself is large, with a quiet library to work in, two cafes and many sitting areas to hang out.

Very welcoming, great for activities with a wide range of interests. Slightly small building and away from the main campus in High wycombe but has a shuttle bus. Wonderful simulation labs with high spec machines.

Great university, studying aviation management is so fun and the lecturers are so intentive. Class could be a bit more fun and exiting but the sporting opportunities at uni at the best. I am on the American football and hockey team and it is the best experience of my life

Uni it's ok. Although majority of lectures don't seem to be very keen in teaching. Loads of abscence, not eager to help students. Although not all of them. Positive about the university is their involvement in technology and arts, quite good facilities to be fair.

Good facilities, modern in some areas but room for improvement, not very social though and not in the most lively of places

Not the best nightlife and a very small uni which means everyone knows each other. But always up to date with events

Bucks New Unihas surprised me with how much I love it. I was sceptical about starting uni in my hometown but it’s great. There’s the odd problem here and there like with all universities but generally it’s great. The buildings are easy enough to navigate, the lecturers are friendly and approachable and McDonald’s is only 2 minutes away ;). The disability service helps you, the counselling service is caring and they try to make sure mentally ill students get the chance to stay in education.

The support for the student is massive and the facilities are are great the biggest down size is location as there is not much of a night life around but the su trys its best to make up for the lack of nightclubs
