In the arts part of the university, the campus is away from the main campus, but it's still really nice with all the facilities you need to be able to make your work. The technicians are all really friendly and helpful too which is a big plus

I would recommend this uni to anybody! It has the most beautiful campus with a lake which is surrounded by beautiful fields and has a multitude of different wildlife such as ducks swans deer foxes and rabbits which is so relaxing compared to the busy and hectic life style of uni! I study commercial music, which I’ve found has amazing facilities, provides loads of lecture hours and also contact hours are available for us to book In our own time! It also has amazing facilities like Mac labs, work space on campus and food and drinks for those doing long days! This uni, or atleast I’ve witnessed, has caring lecturers who listen and understand and want the best for each and every one of their students. The university also has great facilities and lecture halls, some of the subjects even study in the small and old ‘castle’ at the end of the lake! However, it is rather of town , meaning you have to travel to and from the town to get to uni which is around a 20minute journey, but the bus services are amazing and run until 3am The student union is a place I don’t go much as I would rather head into bath and go into some of the pubs by the river and also ones with authentic drinks! But the student union provides food, drink and all at food prices as well as a lovely atmosphere to sit and chill!

I’m currently doing an art foundation at bath spa and I’m one of the first students to take this course as it only started last year. I’d rate the course 3 stars. Initially the tutors threw out quite odd briefs that I didn’t feel were fitting but then second term came around and everything started to feel my professional and had purpose.

Bath Spa is a really good university for the creative subjects. I really enjoyed my time there and met really lovely people. I studied English Literature and really enjoyed it, the lecturers for this subject clearly enjoyed teaching and had a real passion for books. I feel that because Bath Spa is such a small university it means the lecturers really get to know the students which is really important.

Very beautiful university, country like and full of nature. Expansive, with various teaching blocks and the modern main Commons block. All necessary facilitators across campus, from printers, to computers, pods to rooms to book out. The students union is a bit far out and a walk to get to, but once there you will find some fantastic deals in the cafe and bar. Live music from students regularly played, creating a warm atmosphere between all.

Bath Spa University is a diverse and wholly inclusive place to study. The campus facilities are great and the grounds are beautiful. The Creative Writing course in particular is great, the lecturers are all super helpful and they’ve all been either published or have worked prominently in the industry so they have ample knowledge in their fields. You get to try out a vast range of writing styles so you gain a full understanding of what kinds of writing you do or don’t enjoy. Overall my university experience has so far been incredibly enriching and educational.

Great uni, pretty campus, really attentive lectures who take the time to learn your name and make time for you. Some of the older buildings could be updated and so could the facilities / technology for students

The university is one of the newest in the country with amazing facilities and lecturers. I have chosen the best university for me.

I moved to bath spa to finish my third year of film and TV. Overall the university is lovely and a beautiful place however, the course is very backwards. The students are not taught much about film in the first two years and therefore are behind on roles in the industry and how to make a film overall. This is a shame as they could have the resources to do so but the lecturers in certain modules do not cover this. The reason I attended this course for my final year was to pursue more in post production. This is the only reason I'm happy I went to this university as the post production lecturer is up to date and helpful as well as the sound lecturer. Therefore I would say only go to this university on this course if you are interested in post production. If you are interested in producing, directing, cinematography and cameras (they have very little cameras) or being an AD go to another university as they are not teaching these roles to the standard you would expect/find at other unis.

Musical theatre course is based in Weston super mare. The lecturers are basic, won’t support you unless you are their favourite. Unsupportive.

The course is very supportive, with a lot of lecturers with contacts straight into the industry. We have lots of visiting lecturers which is really helpful to talk to people in our position.

Poor facilities. Poor diversity and inclusion. No multi faith room. Low contact hours. Lecturers cancelling lectures and seminars. Disorganised.

Really friendly campus with an emphasis on community, student nights could be more widely advertised so those off campus could hear about them. Plus the buses could do with being better on time however overall a uni I would highly recommend!

My campus is the most beautiful campus I have ever seen. Surrounded by countryside and with a beautiful lake this uni has the perfect mix between the city life and also the calm and relaxing atmosphere of the location of the university’s campus. The student union is a really nice place which is quite cheap and has a really nice vibe. It has a lid of live music because we have music and creative subjects at our university so it’s great there. My course is amazing but that’s probably because I am a music student and my course is the most fun and because I’m studying something that I enjoy hard work doesn’t feel so hard.

Beautiful campus situated just outside of the city centre and surrounded by countryside! The university itself is very modern and has a lot of good amentities!

Bath spa is on a lovely campus surrounded by countryside just outside of the city centre. The uni itself is quite small but it allows for more one to one time with lecturers etc. The halls at green park are well situated within the city centre and close to amenities as well as other halls located around bath it is very easy and nice place to live in. The uni is modern and is aesthetically pleasing too.

Wonderful landscape and views to be explored whilst carrying out your studies. The campus consists of modern and period buildings to provide a contrast. The university has a community feeling with quite a small number of student comparitive to other universities.

Good university. Generally, good university. Perhaps in need of more parking though. Library a good size, good facilities, informative lectures.

Such a beautiful campus, security 247. Has had some backlash from students after the ex chancellor was given a huge pay out. But our new chancellor is a great guy and has stayed in touch with use while we were snowed in to campus. Living here is great but if it snows you are stuck here. The main drive is treterous and needs to be made wider. One time we all had 5o get out and walk for 1 mile because the bus hit a car on the corner.
