Moving in was very fast and easy. The events for freshers week were very fun and i got to make lots of new friends.

My move in experience was good as I was on the 3rd floor so it was possible to walk up the stairs with some things. Get there early or late as the que for the lift was horrendous. There were auntys who were other older students helping us and they were nice telling us what was on. Meeting new people didn't go very well as I got a bad flat and no one really talks which lead to it being hard to find other friends as most found friends through their flat. My advice is not to buy any wrist bands the naughty horse one seemed good but others are a waste of money as you are fixed to where you can go and this also affected making friends as we didn't want to have wasted our money . The bar crawl was really good. My tips are to join some society's as they help find friends and really just dive in on your course . Meet you're flats near you as well knock and introduce yourselves

Being in the 2nd city of the UK, there was always something going on. Whether it was Student Reps going with groups of freshers going to Broad Street every night, or the campus tour which is currently being renovated still. I was surprise how modern and sleek the rooms looked, digital keys, wide and opening kitchen spaces and decent sized closet. Overall, I think the activities could have been a bit more varied, that being the reason why it haven’t given it a 5 stars. Otherwise, if you liked partying and already had an idea of what societies you liked then you didn’t have any problems.

Good freshers week. More focus on clubbing but with recent reviews that is changing. International welcome is pretty well organized. Get ready to have the most wonderful time in your university life
