Fantastic. Loved every minute. People are lovley and everyone is happy to help! Wish I could relive it!

This week was crucial to make friends and join clubs!! We had a freshers fair that introduced us to everything and anything (even a puppy society) you name it there would be a society for it !! I went on day trips and pub crawls and loved every second!

I found my first week at Aberystwyth was terrifying but life changing. I was quiet and shy on my first few days, but everyone that I talked to and spent time with from halls was so friendly, and made me feel right at home.

Freshers week in Aberystwyth is absolutely crazy. The union puts on some cool events such as Blackhouse and the UV paint party, however, its much better to make your way down the hill into town to really throw yourself into the Aber experience. Most of the major clubs and bars like Pier Pressure, Why Not?, Harley's and Academi hold special freshers nights with deals on drinks and confetti cannons. The freshers fair runs over two days and is packed full of stands offering freebies - if you can manage to drag yourself to campus in your hungover state. Overall its a great week, the nightlife is fantastic and the uni works hard to ensure that you're settling in to the town in into uni life in general well. The uni also works with Saint John's Ambulance and are stationed outside all of the major clubs throughout the week, and year, to help ensure that students are safe and everyone is having fun.

Amazing, so much fun win societies and made new friends instantly. Nothing I would change and everything I would do again.
