Overall Constantine college is perhaps the best of all the colleges in terms of facilities and quality. The shared kitchen space is superb and the rooms contain everything one might need.

Location: right on the edge of East Campus. Good if lectures are on this campus less so if your lectures are on West. Next to the gym Social: limited social integration between flats. Some events held in the forum. No college bar Room: Nicest rooms in uni, good kitchens. Best showers

Nice to live away from main campus with a nice balance of city/ countryside. Great links to main campus and city. Accommodation is modern, reliable and clean with maintenance always on hand to help out with anything that goes wrong. Great activities, freshers and re-freshers included. Little expensive but definitely worthwhile.

The college is in my opinion the best at the university! It is on the quieter campus, heslington east and is very spacious and quiet. The accomodation itself is luxiourous compared to other college and even other universities. Each flat has a big TV, sofa, central island to prepare food/eat, a table, 2 sets of cookers, 4 fridges etc. Multiple people can be cooking at the same time without any bother. The rooms are a nice layout with extremely comfortable beds, lots of storage space under the bed, and a large desk that allows you to spred out your study materials during your study. There is two pin boards one by the desk where you can put study material, revision notes etc and another, larger one on the wall where I chose to put pictures up to make the room more homely. The common room, 'The Forum' has been used more over the years for sports socials and general get togethers and events, and is a great space for socialising.

The halls are the newest on campus - so they are very nice and maintained well. Fast internet included and there is a large TV in each kitchen which has a license paid for, which is a good for socialising with flatmates. The downside is that thanks to the flats being brand new and maybe finished a bit too quickly; there's maintenance all the fime. In the year I lived there the hot water was turned off for several days, and even the water on a couple of occasions. The rent is also expensive, it's right on the edge of the new campus so it's a bit secluded and the communal cleaners aren't brilliant.

The location is perfect, regardless of whether you enjoy a night life or not. The bus stops right outside make it easy to travel between campus and the town. Great bar life and halls are clean, very modern, big and maintainance crew will come and fix anything almost instantly.

20 minutes walk from main campus but east campus is lovely and has a bunch of facilities including a load of new food outlets that are opening. The rooms are spacious in the shared bathroom blocks, can’t speak for ensuite a bit they’re meant to be lovey as well. 3/4 size beds, loads of storage space and massive desks. The kitchens are huge and have sofas and TVs! It’s a two minute walk for the Glasshouse, a student bar. Only thing is it is rather pricy.

The accommodation it’s self is nice with good decor & finished to a high standard, nice views from the rooms is a plus too. Although the college social space isn’t great, the campus bar is around a 2 minute walk away. Also it’s the first stop on the bus route into town so you’ll always get a seat. Don’t think I’d say it’s worth the £7000 a year though considering the college staff are almost entirely inept & the college it’s self isn’t very social.

After applying to the university later than expected I was pleased when I was allocated Constantine because of the standard of accomodation. The moving in process was very easy. Living in Constantine was extremely conveinient for the gym but the bus was not that regular so leave for uni (if you have it on the other campus) in good time. The college put on a lot of activities, didn’t go to many but they always seemed to be floating about. Really good room but quite expensive, just depends what you want from a room at uni

Very nice accomodation with good facilities on a good but quiet campus. Poor social areas in the college compared to others on this campus and high price however.

Relatively spacious, modern accommodation with plenty of shelves and study space inside bedrooms. Kitchen space is sufficient, although fridge and freezer space is quite right at just one shelf in a relatively small fridge-freezer (around 165 cm tall) per student. Social experience is decent but events can get quite repetitive.

The accommodation is really nice, the room and kitchen are great. The only negative is that is quite far from where my lectures are. But there is only good things about it. Actually one more thing is that it is quite expensive

My favourite part was being able to go to the main campus in the morning to do my work, and then return to Constantine when I was finished for the day. It almost felt like going home after being at work. Rooms are amazing; double beds and plenty of storage space!!

Accommodation was excellent - sofas in common area and tv for socialising with the flat. En suites were very spacious. College atmosphere was not brilliant though but perhaps this is because it was a new college with less members.

If you want a clean, comfortable and nice place to stay then Constantine ticks those boxes. The facilities are great as you would expect with the slightly higher prices. Due to it‘s position on east campus, it’s a little bit isolated from the main university and town, but there’s a small university bar on campus that’s very nice. If you don’t fancy that then it’s pretty easy to just get a bus into town with the university bus that runs on campus.

Constantine is a new accommodation block that is very modern and appealing. I had a very positive experience in this college, making lots of new friends, getting involved in college events and receiving free food on a Monday! My bedroom was spacious and had an ensuite which was lovely. Th kitchen was huge kitted out with sofas and a TV.

Really nice rooms and big kitchen, always events on. Outside areas also lovely. Bus services located nearby and very close to Piazza/Glasshouse in Langwith

Constantine college halls are absolutely amazing, double bed and lovely ensuite. Kitchen is modern and includes a lounge area and tv. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

I loved my experience at Constantine. The halls are actually quite spacious for student accommodation. They have 3-quarter beds and a reasonable amount of floor space, big desks, lots of power points and a really good shower - its actually really powerful, which is surprising. However, they have gone up in price a lot since I lived there, which makes me not want to live there again, because I just cant afford it. That being said, it was a great quality of accommodation

The accommodation at York is varied, somewhat over priced but facilities are good. Constantine college is expensive but considered luxury with ensuite and a very modern room.
