York

York is an incredible town filled with history, and a real community spirit. Due to its location within a ring road, York has all the aspects of a small quiet town, however the reality is that it portrays a much more lively environment, with a strong student influence aiding its popularity. There are countless shops in the city centre and also a number of shopping centres a bit further out so you’ll never run out of shops. Similarly, the list of pubs is never ending. With over 365 pubs/bars there is somewhere new to drink for every day of the year. The nightlife is also very impressive with a number of different nightclubs that suit student life perfectly.

York Is a lovely place, the night life is amazing so many different places to go and not far away from each other. Good ranges of different place to eat from Italian, Indian, Chinese, sushi to carvery. Its might not be a big big place for shopping but it's big enough and they have a 10 minute bus journey to the designer outlet, and indoor shopping centre too. You have beautiful city wall you can walk round the river. Lovely gardens to go to. Overall York is a lovely place to be.
