The residence is obviously conveniently located. We have a tesco on campus and 24*7 security. The facilities in each flat ave been well planned in accordanc to the requirements of the students such as kitchen cleaning, gaarbage disposal, fire drills etc.

The rooms on campus are obviously conveniently located. Our in flat facilities are well planned accordinging to the needs of the students such as an oven, kitchen cleaning, waste disposal etc. The walls are a little thin so often you might be able to hear what the person in the other room is doing/saying. The beds are big (slightly smaller than a full size bed). A bulletin board has also been provided. Though the university could help us by attaching more hooks to the wall. All in all, I LOVE living on bay campus since everything is so convenient! It's safe and secure too.

The halls of residence are on a very modern campus, and you are provided with all the necessary facilities on campus including a great student bar. Unfortunately the campus is not very close to the main city, but there are two excellent bus services to get you across the city. The Pen-Y-Bryn halls are in great condition with a large shared kitchen between 9 people. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated. The en-suite is a good size and has a good shower.

Very nice facilities and room, however location is a bit far out from anything, and the social aspect really isn't there I feel like apart from your flat it's difficult to find other people?

Very nice newly built halls of residence, good cleaning service and right on beach so during summer months feels like a hotel. Only gripe is that the location is very far from town and a bus pass is expensive.

Absolutely amaIng location! The beach is literally on your doorstep!! big flats of 6-10 so made loads of friends straight away!! The rooms were a decent size with a good layout and a perfect ensuit!! There was a good security system so I knew my things would be safe!!

The campus is very new and you can tell. The rooms and kitchens are very up to date with induction ovens. The rooms are spacious enough with a comfortable 3/4 bed. Some extra storage space in kitchens is needed. The cafe and bar is stylish and comfy and with a Tesco extra on campus you can always pop in and get the necessities.

Room is lush! Biggest downside is the kitchen has very little cupboard/fridge/freezer space! Also you have to deal with people nicking your stuff. Comfy sofas and right next to all your lectures, so pretty tidy tbf. Flat parties are great if you like going out, not so much if you don't. Awful wifi though, eduroam doesn't stretch far enough and keysurf is always not working, especially in the kitchen.

Really nice modern accommodation. However the staff who enforce cleaning in communal areas only issue empty threats which is quickly learnt by students so they don't have any incentive to clean. Furthermore the kitchen is designed more for aesthetic than practicality as i was in a flat of 10 where there was only enough for half a small cupboard each. Clearly not enough. There was plenty of space for more cupboards in the room.Could do with more student bars and clubs in campus. But way too expensive.

The location is a little less than ideal being about a ten minute drive from town longer by bus. The facilities are great with its own gym, cafe and bar. It could be better with a club as well to improve the social experience. The standard rooms have plenty of space and a large desk. The kitchen has not plenty of cupboard space and lovely leather sofas!

Great location, especially if you are studying on this campus. The beach is literally a 2 min walk away and the main part of town is a ten min bus ride. There is an on site gym. The rooms are excellent, great double beds and en-suites, the rooms are always warm. The kitchen facilities are also great, being very spacious with 2 fridge freezers 2 hobs, large breakfast bar and 2 couches, with the only downside being limited cupboard space. The WiFi can be a bit slow at times, however I haven’t had a major problem with it. However the price for the room is quite expensive.

Premium has a good size room, ensuite bathroom makes it preferable, does lack surface area in the kitchen and cupboard space in the kitchen and bedroom. Nice shelves above desk, leather chair in room is comfy, the plastic one not so much, big desk with three draws, plenty of room to work. Plenty of plugs for all appliances, with USB ones to make charging your phones easier. Lighting can be too bright and stops you from feeling tired. Good amount of storage space under bed, though it is hard to access as it requires lifting up the mattress so not good for items that need to be accessed frequently. Convenient light switches by bed and by door, don't have to walk through a pitch black room. Location is convenient as it's only 5 min walk away from lecture buildings and the beach, but a half an hour bus journey from any shops apart from a small Tesco express. 2 large common areas between 12 buildings, some buildings having 8 floors with 3 flats per floor, with 8-12 people per flat. Nothing happens on site, most of the society's run over on the other campus meaning a 40 min bus journey.

New modern feel. Cannot fault the facilities. All brand new. Campus is aside from Swansea which can be an inconvenience but worth it for facilities.

Whilst the actual facilities on Bay Campus are outstanding, the location doesn’t allow for socialising as easily as Singleton or the student village. However the rooms themselves are so good that it justifies the extra rent.

Nice new Accomodation, bedrooms and kitchen good size. Good bus service to town and other campus and nice location. Overpriced though

The buildings are too far from any shops and you have to pay for a bus pass even though you could have your lectures in Singleton. Yet people living in hsv get a free bus pass.

The actual campus is not in Swansea but just outside the city. It's clean, new and modern but it's lacking in substance i.e the student community in comparison to Singleton. The rooms are clean and well lit. A bit expensive. The WiFi can certainly be improved on as there is no connection in the kitchen only in the bedrooms.

The location is quite far from the town as it’s about 15 minutes drive. Though a few minutes walk to lectures and the beach makes this tolerable. The facilities are pristine and well equipped at all acomodation. With plenty of space in the kitchens and rooms. Due to the fact that most of the flats are large it is easy to make friends. The social experience could be improved though by having a club but there is a bar and restaurant on the campus. The standard room has a 3/4 bed, desk, chair, desk table and a ensuite bathroom. This has been a splendid size! Most impressed

If you're studying on bay campus these halls are perfect as you can roll right out of bed and in to lectures if you're studying on singleton would not recommend as it's a very long bus journey. only big downside is it's very far from town so a bus pass is almost a must which is quite a hefty cost

Location is very near to my lecture halls, as an engineering student, and also only 15-20mins from town. It could be a bit closer to Singleton for sport, but otherwise excellent both practically and aesthetically, with it being right on the beach front.
