Located on campus, 5 minute walk to classes, all floors are able to be accessed by everyone who stays in the building, making it the best halls for the social experience. All rooms are en-suite and shared facilities are really good. At around £125 per week, it is expensive, however what you get compared to the slightly cheaper other halls, it is 100% worth the little bit of extra money.

All the staff are really lovely and super helpful! Felt very at home when I first moved in. Kitchen can get a bit messy if not cleaned often as there’s so many students living here.

The location is really good especially if you have classes in pathfoot. It’s beside all of the other halls and the campus isn’t massive so it’s in good walking distance from everywhere. It’s great having your own bathroom and also a cleaner who cleans it once a week. The room has everything you need and the shared kitchen helps you meet people.

Andrew Stewart Hall is the traditional hall style building. Each floor is made up of 15-20 individual bedrooms in which most are en-suite. When I lived in halls last year rent was £475 per month including bills. For the halls itself I would say this is somewhat overpriced considering that it is deteriorating and the building is quite old. For example the kitchen didn’t have enough seats for everyone and there were only stools. Most of which were broken. All in all I would say that ASH is great to live in but over priced for sure.
