The location is very accessible, especially with the Unilink buses. Also the facilities are great - there is a high quality gym and co-op extremely close by. But the social experiences are great and my room is a good-size and well maintained.

The location is amazing, right in the centre of the city and close to everything. The uni is only 15/20 minutes away by bus which is ideal. The gym below is perfect. The rooms are nice and modern, especially the bathrooms. Only issue would be that the beds are small and quite uncomfortable.

Location is right in the centre so close to clubs, superstore, shops and many others. My room is very good, very spacious and on the top floor so gives a remarkable view and the facilities of halls is great too.

Overall great accommodation! So close to the city centre and only a 5 minute walk from the main clubs/pubs in town so perfect for student life. The student services are very much on top of everything and regular checks/ cleanups help to keep the flat tidy. The only drawback would be the inconsistent WiFi...

Great location for night life but furthest halls from university which is hard when you're hungover! The gym and co-operative are really helpful and useful and the halls condition was always good. 10 in a flat might be a little too much but it can definitely work!

Very good location in the city centre with good bus service to the university. Good gym in the Mayflower halls.

Good location near all shops and entertainment. Access to the university is made easy by the university buses.

The best accommodation you can get at Southampton. Walking distance to everything you need (clubs, shopping, train station etc) & you get a free bus pass to get you to the university campuses whenever you need to. For the price you're paying, the security should be a bit more lenient. Some apartments have been constantly told off & kicked out for socialising with other flats and playing music at a moderate volume and at a reasonable time; some have even had to face unreasonable fines. Yet other flats have gotten away with it. The security guards need to remember that we're all university students.

Loved it. Best year ever. Really modern halls which are well looked after and maintained. Very clean. In a brilliant location close to town and ideal for nights out as you can walk to and from all the major clubs. Bus for uni stops right outside and takes around 15mins to get to Highfield Campus.

Great location for first year students. Close to the city centre but only a 15 minute bus ride into campus.

Only thing I would complain about it the state of the kitchen and that the cleaners don't actually clean everything, they just take the dirty and clean things and put them all together on the table which means you have to wash things again

Lovely halls and lovely staff - feels like a hotel! Really clean toilets and really close to West Quay. BUS is free is first year which is a bonus really. Would highly recommend Mayflower - my favourite place!

The rooms are a suitable size. There is plenty of desk space as well. There are quite a few events held. Also the ‘purple people’ are extremely helpful if and when you need them

Even though mayflower is slightly more expensive than some of the other halls it is worth the extra money. It’s central location means that many clubs are within walking distance and a vast number of shops are a 5 minute walk away. The halls consist of 3 tower block buildings, all very modern, en suite bathrooms and large shared kitchens.
