Great location for city campus as it's only a 5-10 minute walk but not so good for collegiate as it takes half an hour to walk. Also very close to the city center and mulitple differnt supermarkets. The accomodation needs freshening up slightly but it has all the necassary ammenities. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in assisting with queries and maintenance. Unfortunatly my social experience hasnt been as good as i hoped but i feel this is because i ended up as the only girl in a flat with 3 boys (the other girl deferred).

Trigon is in a great location for city campus, with less than a 10 min walk to the main building. Close to aldi and a short walk to the moor market makes it an ideal place to stay in first year. Rooms are a fair size for the price too.

Love the room and kitchen! Managed well and the people that work here are lovely. I wish there were more washing machines and dryers though as you're always waiting for someone to finish doing theirs. Also could be a better communal area for all flats.

Loved my stay in the Trigon. Literally situated in the city centre, amazing views (I had top floor), kitchen was a good size and the staff came out to fix things really quick and were lovely. Reception were always there to help.

Nothing is their fault and everything goes wrong: lifts, WiFi, satellite, window cleaning, pest control, washing machines etc. Over priced and poor quality. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Trigon offers the best value for money for ensuites near the city centre and was a very good place for me to start my uni journey in Sheffield. Personally I didn't use the common room but I did check it out before and it seems like a really nice place to hang out with your flat mates or friends. There is a pool table and a WII in there. There are some hidden negatives with Trigon that no-one seems to mention. There is a rat problem within the accommodation, however, the halls do their best to combat this problem despite being in the city and rats being very common. They get people in to change the traps every so often but make sure you keep the kitchen areas clean.

It’s shite. I wouldn’t bother. My advice; find a nice cardboard box and place it just outside the spar, it would probably be more comfortable than the trigon beds. Might actually be warmer too. Probably get better WiFi from the train station.

The facilities are okay but often break so needing to be fixed as well as this the common room is boring, the pool queues are broken and the TV is very outdated

Really nice kitchen area. Our kitchen space was newly renovated so it was really nice and different to a few I had seen. Wet room bathroom is big but not nice gets mouldy easily and shower curtain gets very dirty and has to be cleaned a lot. Gets very cold and heaters aren’t great but would still reccomend.

The place has rats, the laundry machines never work, the WiFi is pathetic and nothing is their responsibility. The lift broke and was fixed 3 months later. Complete scam

Good size room . Easy to socialize . The ensuites are helpful. Really close to city campus and the moor for shopping

This was the cheapest halls of residence within 10 minutes of the campus that also had ensuites. Halls always try and put first years together but in my case we had a flat of 4 with a second year in. It's always best to be with people who are going into their first year as you are all in the same boat of making new friends whereas second year or above already have those friendship groups.

The location was brilliant, really convenient and close to the city centre, nightlife and the university. My room was pretty small but fine for living and bearable, maintenance was good though and if anything broke they’d be straight on the case. Overall, I enjoyed my time in halls and made some good friends, who I now live with.

New halls, fully furnished with lots of room, modern, nice views overlooking Sheffield, great location, helpful staff always on call. Just lack of social space apart from in kitchen theres no where to chill all together

Its so close to uni, it made the 9AM's a little easier. It was close to the clubs and had a sainsburys local just round the corner which was handy

The halls was soo close to uni that is made getting up for the 9AM little easier. It was near by the town center and close to the clubs. There was also a sainsburys local near by which was handy
