Peel Park Quarter

Facilities are good and is a nice generally well maintained place to live. However, staff are often rude and uncaring - they often will tell you to ‘come back tomorrow’ if you have an issue that they don’t want to deal with. After being told to ‘come back tomorrow’ one day after another I asked what time would be best to which the woman just huffedand shrugged. Unfortunately on a night out during freshers week I had my purse snatched which had all my cards, money and my room key in. They were totally unsympathetic and refused to give me the spare key to let myself into my room when I got back because I didn’t have £25 to pay them for another key (my purse was snatched!). So had to have some guy let me in instead for the night, which meant I was also unable to lock my room for a few days whilst I got new cards and some money.

modern but somewhat clinical, reminded me of PGL or something, not homely - especially if you get stuck with the bright orange room.. the security and general involvement of staff is overboard. A landlord or any staff should give you 24h notice before entering your flat, they dont. 'Maintenance' let themselves into my bedroom before while i was partially clothed and asleep. random charges for not cleaning the microwave or mopping the floor, which is none of their business. you can have a floor of custard if you like when renting as long as you give the place back in the same condition. just stupid. its like moving out and having a new set of annoying as fxck parents. just get a student house. also its on campus, which is good location in some ways but at the same time you literally live AT uni. social areas are pretty good but again look like a PGL.

Actaul accommodation was fine but the water kept going yellow, pressure was terrible & horrible. Rooms were nice & spaciaous. But people I lived with were a mess, noisy disruptive, rude & although I made multiple complaints no actions were taken to resolve the smoking and mess
