Great halls, great position on campus and right next to the SU after a night out on the raz. All bedrooms are en suite. Had a fantastic room overlooking the campus and could see the sea. Nice social experience with other flats

Building is pretty new and the inside is modern. En suites so don't have to share bathrooms and nice furniture. On university campus so close to all buildings and the SU.

Amazing location as right on campus, only problem was the noise due to being near the SU but this did not affect us much of the time as was Friday/Saturday night when we were out anyway! I lived on floor 9 and had amazing views across Plymouth and the sea. Provided plenty of inter bonding activities if you were looking to meet new friends. Loved having my own Ensuite, made a huge difference for me. Didn’t have any communal areas which was disappointing and we did not have our own reception/washing area unlike many of the other halls which meant we had to go across campus to get to them. Great service provided by the uni, competitions throughout the year to win prizes as a flat, regular cleaners, efficient and helpful maintenance. Absolutely loved halls would go back any day!!!

The location of mary newman is perfect aab's it's on campus ans central to all of the lecture theatres, as well as being close to the town centre and surrounded by several shops, bad, restaurants and clubs!

Maintenenance was poor, rooms were compact but functional. Issue with fire alarms and shared kitchen storage space. Personality matched shared flats worked well, mix of courses and encouraged to socialise. R.A.s on duty (on call) if need.

The location of Mary Newman Halls is perfect for if you don’t want to walk very far to your lectures or go to the SU on a night out. Fairly clean yet lifts are always out of order!

The rooms are nice, but the fire alarm constantly goes off. The halls officers are arrogant and petty, and the boiler is constantly broken. The halls really smell bad, but the social with mates can sometimes be good. I just want a free doughnut to be honest

Great facilities however it is on the priced end of the student accommodation spectrum but completely worth it. 24 hour security and maintnece team and lovely staff. The halls are constantly providing activities for all of us to do in order to socialise. Amazing place. Astor House

The location of Mary Newman Halls was on campus- perfect for 9am lectures and use of the student union on nights out. The rooms are a good size, plenty of storage; and I had a really great view from my window. - Good value for money.

Excellent views, prime location, lack of washing facilities (have to walk to Francis drakes) and no social spaces.
