Great location only 2mins away from the lecture halls. Was clean and modern with good facilities. Staff were friendly and always made sure you were okay.

Outstanding location as was 5min walk to lectures and seconds away from the student union. Very clean and modern building where one can make plenty of friends and study hard.

Exeter has plenty of options for accomodation and Lafrowda gives an excellent balance between location, comfort and social scene. Would highly recommend for self-catered.

Great social life, excellent location with a great group of friends! I was in old lafrowda so the facilities were quite outdated but great to have the option of being non en-suite.

Was nice to live there, I lived in old lafrowda which looks a bit like a prison building but overall it has a charm and everything works as it should. Kitchen is big and you have everything you need, location of the halls are the best of all halls, only 5 mins away from central campus and 10 mins away from town. Definitely the best on campus residence in Exeter.

Very sociable accommodation with a good kitchen. Could do with bigger cupboard space and the bed is not standard size so trying to find any sheets that fit doesn't work

I stayed in old Lafrowda. It was what I expected from the price, however it was a great place to live in my first year of university!

I live in old Lafrowda block G, in a flat of 12. Our old flats were flats of 11 (block N and P) but included a lounge. I much preferred the flats with lounges, it gave extra chairs and room to socialise. Our kitchens were brand new this years and everything works well. We do however get squirrels in the kitchen if the window is left open! Location is perfect for getting to town and is on campus. Washing, reception, the market place and Lemmy are all within 2 mins walk and numerous exercise classes happen in the lemmy through the week. The business school is in 5 mins walk if that. The rooms are a perfect size and the beds are comfy (they replace mattresses when they are too old). There is no plaster on the walls but you get used to it and its not cold when the heating gets turned on. You share 3 toilets and 3 showers with your flat which get cleaned 2/3 times a week. There's also a hoover, but that actually makes your room smell very bad when used! I love having so many people around, always someone to talk to and we all get along very well. Overall I would not change our little old Lafrowda for anything (but a lounge would be good ;) )

Little bit prison like but overall pretty good for the price. Lots of storage space and shelving. Shared bathrooms are fine and good because they get cleaned

Great social hall but currently living in the block with renovating works. It does get a bit annyoning at times but everyone is sociable which is great.

Everything is perfect, it's very close to uni and town, the rooms are peng and everything is new. The social experience is the best in the uni and it's got everything you can possibly need. Best hall by far. Only bad thing is the Wi-Fi.... Let's not even go there.

Best location for halls on campus, most sociable and great living space in both the communal areas and personal space. Only downside is probably the internet

Location is really convenient as lectures are all within 5 minutes as well as small shops and the union night club. The facilities communal facilities are not good, the kitchen space is too small for the volume of people, the toilets don’t have sinks in them, the rooms are bare brick, and the comfort room chairs are uncomfortable. However, I wouldn’t want to be any where else because it’s a great sense of comradery. Social side is good, very communal and plenty of events My room just needs a double or small double bed and it’s perfect

Very spacious and modern accommodation. The kitchen is very big and well-equipped. Lafrowda has the biggest kitchens/communal areas on campus, this is the reason why pre-drinks often (always) take place at lafrowda. The en-suite room in lafrowda are well equipped, the bathroom is small but functional. The room in itself is very comfortable and nice to live in.

The room and ensuite were very modern and clean. The kitchen was large and to a good standard but got very warm due to the firedoor when all 8 people were there. Bins were close by on site.

Really fun and sociable halls, newly built, rooms are well laid out with ensuites although they do only have single beds. Kitchens have sofas as well as dining tables which provides a nice space to spend time with flat mates. Great location

Old Lafrowda... what to say except visually, it's not stunning. The walls are a little narrow, the grey brick not too appealing and it's quite expensive, as housing in Exeter tends to be. The only social area provided is a kitchen, rooms are not en-suite and they are pretty basic. But as the cheapest accommodation, on-campus, you get what you (comparatively) pay for. Living with 11 other people (and with over 100 in the same block) means Old Lafrowda is a very sociable place to be and, surrounded by other (albeit newer) blocks you're bound to make friends in flats nearby, only enhancing this. The internet is more than passable but less than excellent, although is prone to failing (normally only for a few minutes, however, which isn't crippling).

Super good facilities, close to heart of campus, big communal areas, room was well equipped (if not a little small) No double bed - 1.5x single Had the sickest time
