It is very close to campus and only 10 minutes from town. There are 8 people in a flat and a communal kitchen/dining/living area which is good for socalising. Rooms are small but well designed and have plenty of storage space and are ensuite, which is more of a wetroom.

Lafrowda made such a difference to my first year. My room was the perfect size, albeit having a single bed and the en-suite bathroom was such a privilege. Location was perfect for being a business student as it was only a 4 minute walk from my flat. If I could go back to Lafrowda, I so would. Kitchen was a great social space too with double fridges, oven, kettle and microwaves. The best accommodation for freshers by far!

I was in old lafrowda and loved it, perfect if you have lots of lectures as it's on campus, short walk to town, had 11 in my flat so was very social

A really well situated and maintained halls, with a generally great bunch of people at a good enough price point. Perfect for getting to and from lectures as well as into town for shopping or nights out. Marketplace offers loads of items and right next to the SU night club

Really good location close to town and main campus where lectures are. People are all social and up for a night out. Rooms decent size.

Room is expensive, however staying in Blocks with renovations being done made it massively cheaper! So close to campus and business school, everything is nearby!

Best halls on Campus, its close to the university centre and you dont have to walk half hour up cardiac hill to get to class. The rooms are nice in New lafrowda, but the people are best in old lafrowda. Either way youre gonna be in the best location.

Location - 10 minute walk to central campus and walking distance from all the nightlife in town Facilities - flat kitchen has everything we need and a carpeted sofa area. En-suite rooms are the perfect size and surprisingly well soundproofed Social - lafrowda is known for its social atmosphere, there's always a pre-drinks going on in the block before a night out, and my flat also have movie nights and cook meals together

Super close to campus and also walking distance from all the nightlife in town which saves money not needing taxis etc. The rooms are perfect sizes and the wet-room en-suites are very nice. Good social atmosphere and the flat kitchen makes socialising with the flat and other people in the block so easy.

Great location, loved my room - ensuite and nice size, and the communal kitchen area was big enough for all of us

Really good location, just a two minute walk to the majority of my lectures. The rent is really good value and gives you everything you need. Kitchens a good size, the only thing is the tables small and there's only six chairs for 12 people meaning we can't all sit together at once. The bedrooms are a good size and there's enough storage space to put all your stuff. The WiFi's not great and often drops off. Is quite slow and doesn't reach the kitchen.

Location is the best of all residences on campus - don't have to trek up "cardiac" hill to get to the forum. Also old lafrowda is actually great and not as horrible as those in new lafrowda make it out to be, accommodation isn't as pretty and the rooms are smaller but more than worth it if you need to save money

I was in old lafrowda, which was nicknamed the prison block due to bare brick and disgusting nature of the building, but it was also the most social and fun, pres were always being hosted somewhere in the block.

Such a lovely accomodation, perfect location, spacious kitchen area to share between 8 people which is a perfect number to not make it too crowded. Big rooms with en-suite bathrooms, only thing that would improve this accomodation is double beds

Lafrowda is in my opinion the best hall of residence to stay in. It is very close to everything on campus and it isn't far from town either. The rooms are a good size and Lafrowda is so social. Lafrowda is probably the best Hall to be in for your first year.

Great location - max 15 mins from lectures and the same into town. The rooms are all identical but they are great. Loads of cupboards, shelves and storage space. The ensuites are good too - only downside is that its a wet room rather than there being a shower cubicle. That doesn't really matter though, it just means the floor is wet for a bit. There ere 8 people per flat and the kitchen is designed for this with 2 ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 fridges etc. We had to buy our own toasters though. TO be honest, the social experience is up to your flat and block. No one is going to organise anything for you and the only social areas are your own kitchens. I loved Lafrowda!

Very sociable and terrific location, by far the best self catered accommodation on campus pity about the single bed

I loved how the university placed you with like minded people and how halls allowed you to intergrate yourself and feel at home the environment made it easy to make friends by having comunial cooking facilities but also allowed you to have privacy. The rooms had great storage, modern, clean and were a perfect size likewise with the kitchen having the essentials and sofas to relax.

Location is a 10 min walk from the business school and lecture theatres. The facilities are amazing, really new and it’s known for the parties. My room was lovely, the perfect size... I honestly couldn’t recommend any other halls at Exeter! Plus there’s a burger place right opposite and the student club.....

Extremely good halls! self catered= kitchen, making it very sociable. Great location, five minute walk from campus and very nice rooms, being fairly new and high quality.

The location was great, halls were cleaned regularly by the staff, social life was great as it was close to town, university and lemmy. I had a great time in Lafrowda and would definitely recommend it.

Lafrowda was everything that I hoped for and more. In the perfect location, close to campus and near the city centre, there’s no surprise that it’s one of the most popular accommodation blocks. I lived on a block which was being refurbished and so I received a rent reduction. It didn’t affect my experience at all and communication from the uni was excellent.

One of the most in demand accommodation blocks, Lafrowda was everything I hoped and more. My block is currently being renovated and as a result I received a reduction in rent, but it didn’t affect my experience at all. It is so close to everything on campus but it can get a bit loud because it is next to the Student nightclub “Lemmy.”
