Rooms are decent size with a standard double bed, not really enough room for storage/clothes though. The en-suite is nice but gets dusty very quickly and the shower is quite small. Shared kitchen is a good size with a sofa but would have been nice to have a table and chairs rather than a breakfast bar. Overall a good halls though.

Slade park is average at best. The halls of residence are actually quite far from uni, about half an hour to fourth minutes walk. Local amenities were improved after Aldi moved in but still far from everything. The maintenance could be better, along with the general safety of the place. But it's a nice place to live.

A great place if you love to be social and meet people with different backgrounds! Good neighborhood and easy access to transport for uni, town and everywhere you might wanna go! Clean and big rooms and a courtyard to sit and relax also has a cinema room if you want to watch a movie with mates.

The rooms are very nice they have everything you will need in it. It’s all very friendly and as there aren’t as many people in slade so you make some really close friends really easily. The one downside though is having to travel everywhere I recommend having a bike!

The rooms have quite of bit of space, the toilets and kitchen are cleaned out every week. Once I lost my keys, I have to call security, they got the key replaced within 20 mins

It’s a bit far from university and from the city centre making it a bit of a commute on nights out. The cinema room and study room are great amenities to have on site. The rooms are a decent size with a double bed and an ensuite shower room. Flats of 4-6 people allow to meet plenty of new people and make new friends.

Lovely room, but far from campus (30 min walk or 15 min bus). Close to aldi so great for food shopping

Rooms were great, only Hall with double beds. Washing machines were so expensive and some were broken for a long time

The halls were nice, although there were some issues with small parts of the halls (e.g. radiators and lights). Unlike other halls, Slade does not receive a cleaning service, which is surprising due to the amount of money we pay each term. The reception are generally lovely although there have been some cases of rude security guards at night. The location can be somewhat of a pain due to having to get a bus everywhere, especially paired with Oxford traffic.

The room itself was lovely- however I maintained it well throughout my year and was still not given back full deposit. Bins outside were regularly over flowing. Would spend hours cleaning the flat to be given a warning for a dent that was there prior to stay.

Location is very out of the way, you need to leave a good 45 minutes to get anywhere be it in town or main campus. The actual rooms and flats are very good and maintenance is always prompt to fix problems. However for what we pay we would expect security to be better - the locals have broken in and stolen bikes- and facilities to be far nicer. I thing the pool tables they provide us must be about 20 years old and they cost! Even with the extortionate rent we pay! Good halls though. Wifi is a shocker though.
