Mansfield College

First years accomodation is within the college, and this is in a decent location in Oxford. It's not as central as a lot of Oxford colleges, but is still only about 10 minutes from the centre and is in a much quieter area of Oxford, which is nice. The libraries are good, as is the food in hall (although it's a bit pricy). There are too few kitchens so if lots of people cook each day they can get into quite a mess which is super irritating. Most rooms are en-suite with good showers etc., but a couple of blocks have shared bathrooms. Some rooms have to walk through multiple doors and down a flight of stairs for the toilet! But these are rare, so you'd be pretty unlucky to get one. There are several areas for socialising, and there's generally quite a relaxed area around college.
