Location is ideal for NTU city campus, literally less than 5 minutes from all the buildings on the campus. Rooms are really nice, modern and a decent size for a university accommodation. The only bad thing is you don’t get a double bed which isn’t the end of the world for the 10 months you’ll be there. Staff are amazing and always help with any problems you might have as quick as they can! Would highly recommend staying here if you’re studying on the city campus.

The location is ideal, being right in the city centre and right next to the university. The flat is modern and updated, with high quality facilities and lots of room to share with flatmates. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Modern accommodation with a central location. 2 minutes from university buildings and 1 minute from tram stop. Room is spacious for a uni room, although it has a single bed. Right above the student union so right in the action!!

The location is very convenient, very close to uni buildings no matter where your classes are. The accommodation is about 5 mins or so to clubs such as Ink, also fast food places and restaurants at corner house!. There is very close food stores. This is an accommodation if you like partying and socialising a lot. The accommodation also has great facilities such as gym, student lounge etc

Fairly spacious modern room which is modern and extremely clean. Not very homely but you can make it your own. Kithen is large and perfect for social occasions however for the amount of people leaving in each flat there is not enough storage space.

Great freshers experience, met some friends for life. Right in the city centre which meant everything was a stones throw away. Room and kitchen was modern and clean.

Byron is pretty sick, but it does have some things wrong with it. Firstly If u don't like partying 3/4 times a week then it can be annoying. Just bare loud around 2/3am. It's over priced, but it is what it is I guess. The lighting is abit shit, LED lights don't really give off a homely feeing yk, kind of makes you feel like a robot living in a hotel, because every room is the same, there's no authenticity. Maybe I'm just dramatic. Although, the rooms are spacious, enough storage, bathroom is perfect size, location is amazing, you can't get any closer to uni if you tried. Shame byron doesn't have a common room, would help with the social side.

The location was amazing and it was a very lively accommodation with lots of people there. However there was no communal area to meet up with other blocks and the kitchen area wasn't very nice to spend time in as there was no sofa and only hard benches to sit on.

Very nice residence for moving away from home for the first time. Rooms all equipped with ensuite and singular beds (some have doubled at higher price). Ideally situated right in the city centre al no bus pass or team per required to get around. Very social with flats up to 10 people. High priced, but worth it if you want to stretch your budget.

Really sociable halls, massive kitchens which are good for having people over. Ensuite rooms are the biggest of all the uni accommodation and the bathrooms are decent. Also best location!

Absolutely love the location as it is so close to everything however i feel the actual room space is quite small considering what we're paying. Love the colour scheme in both the kitchen and bedrooms as it is neutral with pops of colour. Ideal amount of people in each flat however do not like living above the student union especially on a saturday night.

Very good quality interior and out! Great location next to the library and above the student Union, sometime it gets pretty loud on a Friday/Saturday but I was in A block above the smoking area (Screaming Freshers). Roll out of bed and into the library/lectures in 5 minutes exactly, every student dream!

The accommodation is great for a first year! This is where I stayed when I first came to NTU and till this day I still say it's one of the best accommodations I have stayed at during my time in Nottingham. It is in such a good location as it is literally opposite the uni library and a 5 minute walk to uni which is really convenient. Below is the SU which is great as it's so close by and they put on a variety events, as well as the SU shop being right next to it so you can quickly grab essentials if needed. The accommodation is not far from Victoria Centre and Corner House which is great too as you won't have to travel far to go shopping and even try different food! The room it self is really good, it provides enough storage which is great and it's very modern. They provide a wet room shower which a lot of people do have concerns about the water going everywhere but I didn't have no trouble at all! The shared kitchen is very spacious and they provide double of most things such as fridge/freezer, cooker, sink etc so no one is waiting to use anything which is good! There is always someone on duty at all hours so if you ever have any troubles at whatever time there is always someone at the reception, which is very helpful! Overall Byron Residence is a great accommodation and I highly recommend.

Byron is in an excellent location and very close to the uni, town and the library. The spaces are modern and cleaned well during the week. I have had a few problems with my radiator and loss water and heating a few times but they got fixed quickly. Overall, an expensive place to live but the location and design of the building makes it worth it.

In terms of the halls, I really enjoyed staying there for a year. The courtyard is the best place for everyone to socialize and meet up. During the last few months, where the weather was getting better, it was a great place for everyone to sit and have a picnic

Byron is probably the better halls of residence for a trent student. It is ideally located as it sits above the city site student union. Meaning you are at the centre of the social hub. The shopping centre is minutes away, aswell as many restaurants, bars and clubs too. This means that getting home after a night out is both easy and cheap if not free. Byron is very social as it holds a lot of rooms with flats as big as 10. Meaning you will most likely find someone who you really get on with in your own flat or maybe the one next door. Although it is on the pricey side I would definitely recommend byron to any new student. The rooms are nice and spacious, the kitchens are very modern with two cookers and sets of hobs. The only down side is the lack of social areas, there is a living room ish but the seating is limited and there is no TV, so it is difficult to get people to sit in there.

The location was perfect! I was a 2 minute walk from my lectures and also next to the students union which was ideal. The bedrooms are small but have everything you need. The kitchen had a good social space. The only thing I would say is that there wasn't a common room.

The actual exterior/interior of the accommodation I would rate 5 star, especially seeing as its accommodation for students. It is also much luxurious compared to the other accommodation that Nottingham Trent offers. The only downfall is how small the rooms actually are and how basic the facilities are in comparison to what we’re paying for it. The staff are brilliant. The best bit was that I made great friends with my flat mates as well as people in my block and other parts of the accommodation. Byron Residence is also located two minutes away from literally everything. University, Tesco, the Victoria Centre and many of the nightclubs are just down the road. It is in a fantastic location. The major downfall however is that it is an extremely loud place to live. During the day you hear the hustle and bustle of students as well as the construction that’s been going on to redo the cladding this year and during night time you hear the Student Union Club and Bar downstairs, as well as loud people walking home from nights out.

Loved living here was so convienent and so socialable and I met so many people. Living right above uni was such a perk and after a night out it was easy to get to and therefore there wasn’t a long walk back home

There was so many hall options to choice from, ranging from many different prices. Byron was great as it had an amazing location, I could get from my bed to my lectures in less than 5 minutes. Even though Byron was a little pricey, it’s worth it for the location and the facilities. My flat was all clean and modern and the kitchen was very big which was needed as I was in a flat of 10. My room was a good size for what I needed and all the furniture was also clean and modern. The rooms in Byron also come with lots of storage and a huge desk for all your work. The staff at Byron also really look after you, and are on hand to help at any time of the day.

The halls were fully refurbished just before I came to uni. This was both a good and bad thing. Good because everything looked amazing and was brand New, bad because it had faults (leaking shower). Byron flats have massive living rooms/kitchens which mean that socialising has never been easier and fun.

The location is amazing however it is very noisy on club nights if you are in certain blocks. The rooms and kitchen are very modern and spacious.

Very noisy, but the central location was great being a fresher. As all blocks were next to each other it created a very social space

I do love my halls of residence. It’s defo in the best location. Ease of access to get out of Nottingham via Car and the city centre is walking distance. The university is just across the street
