Very nice, always clean with cleaners coming twice a week, kitchens really nice with really good social area. Bit on the expensive side and but further away from campus than other accomodation but well worth it. Arguably the nicest accomodation at UEA

Good kitchen with different facilities ie fan oven, microwave. Fridge has lots of space. Cleaners come regularly so place is very clean and tidy. Rooms have plenty of storage space, bathroom works well.

Very clean and tidy. Kitchens are big, modern and well maintained. Good flat size and the WiFi is good throughout. Flats are cleaned three times a week and bins are emptied once a day.

The rooms have apt storage with a cheerful decor. The bathrooms have shower curtain issues but are fit for use. The shared space is the best aspect as it includes sofas enabling times to socialise. The colours of yellow is bright giving a homely atmosphere. The worst aspect is the cost alothough high is worth it compared to the other accommodations.

The location is excellent; on campus, but not in the middle so there is no noise disturbance from people going to/from the lcr, but only takes 15 mins to get to the furthest point on campus! Facilities are great and is why I chose Hickling... the kitchen facilities are amazing and even with 12 people living with me we never feel on top of each other. Bins get replaced, and cleaners are great too. Social experience is not as lively as I have heard other accommodations host, however there is still a chance to meet people and flats who host pres if you want to; I am not a very sociable person regarding nightlife so I’m happy and content with a low social experience in Hickling. My room is slightly smaller than other accommodations however I do not need a lot of room... the desk, wardrobe, bed etc are all adequately sized but I am more than happy with what I have got. The only issue I have with my room is that the shower basin/area is quite small, and when my boyfriend visits (he is much taller than me) he struggles, so if I(!!!) find it small, then people bigger than me must struggle:( but I am still happy with my accommodation and I wouldn’t change it if I had a chance.

The rooms are a fairly decent size and the ensuite bathroom is definitely worth the extra money, especially as it includes the lovely cleaners who come to clean it once a week. The kitchens are well equipped and it’s a good location for getting to the centre of campus. Only problem is the squeaky kitchen tap nobody can fix when the hot water is running. Apart from that, wonderful accommodation.
