Soho room was always my favourite night out. It's free, so you can't complain and there's music for everyone. I've never had a bad night of music in soho. However, it's so busy it gets absolutely boiling and you can't move. They really need to invest in some fans cause it makes you feel faint. And the bouncers are absolutely shocking. Several times I have seen them unnecessarily fighting with both boys and girls with such uncalled for aggression. Recently they pushed a female friend actually down the stairs for doing absolutely nothing and dislocated her knee. Reported to the police, but it's out of order.

I like soho rooms because it is a free night out! However, I very much try to avoid a free night out as I feel like the experience in other bars/clubs are better. You may as well pay a few quid entry to other clubs and get cheaper drinks and the prices are over the top (since entry is free). The music they play is the same pretty much every time I have went which usually seems to be top songs over the past year which we have heard millions of times. Staff are usually quite friendly and people in there are alright but besides that it’s an okay club. Especially since it is free.

Very cheap (3 trebles and two shots for a tenner) but always too packed especially on a weekend. Music is r&b/charts. Good for pre's but not for a big night out. Really depends on what kind of music you like. It's too crowded for me.

Cheap and cheerful - classic free Newcastle night out, bit gross but it is where most of the students are at

Had great nights out here but gets ridiculously busy. Music was great and drinks were fairly good price.

Very student friendly, great prices on drinks. However terrible music and very crowded. Free entry is a bonus and the main reason I go there.

Aye its alright like usually on a normal night it's full of posh rah's and 'madlad' first years, and the bouncers are massive c**ts that will try to fight you over you touching them spaghetti lights on second floor but drinks are cheap and there is always a guy in the smoking area telling you about how he had a seizure after dropping a solid gram of MD in one bomb that one night. Sometimes you might even encounter the rare person who will offer you a ciggy for free but don't count on it son.
