One of the best clubs in Newcastle, flares is an appropriate place to boogie every night of the week

Good music, free entry and great fun. However drinks are a bit expensive and service at the bar is always slows.

Throwbacks and all the songs you love to hate. Flares is the most lively club in Amsterdam. Everyone is always in a great mood and the drinks are cheap and cheerful.

Amazing, they play good old tunes, appeal to most ages and always has a great dj to commentate on dancing! Would definitely recommend for anyone coming up to Newcastle for a night out stag do’s etc.

Great venue right in the centre of town, great size with lots of room and you never have to queue for too long at the bar. Always really friendly to students and had great cheap drinks such as deals for bottles of wine, and the bar staff are always really lovely. Great 80s vibe with light up dance floor and a mixture between cheesy throwbacks and classic good tunes, always gets you dancing. Toilets are also really clean and never too busy.

Flares is a pure shout when you've had a terrible night and ya actually need to blast some ABBA to get yourself back up again - would absolutely recommend and it's free entry during the week anyways

Amazing atmosphere, great for all ages. Free entry and the bouncers are really nice. Drinks are reasonably priced.

The venue is in the perfect location. The crisps provided by the DJ on a Wednesday night is the highlight of the flares experi nice. The cheesy classic old school music is what you want to hear to top your night in the toon

Flawless place, fantastic music, friendliest staff. Drinks are cheap during week, my favourite night is Wednesday’s.

Great for a boogie if you like old school bangers, unfortunately you have to pay for entry on weekends and the drinks are pretty expensive for newcastle. Other than that its 10/10 for music and atmosphere

All the classsics, atmosphere is hilarious, everyone has a massive sing along. But I’m not massive on the 1am last entry rule

Cheesiest place you'll ever go, great 80's nights guaranteed fun. Good atmosphere and usually free to get in but drinks can be quite expensive.

Great drink prices- only £2 a pint! I have socials there every Wednesday and we get a free bottle of bubbly! The music is the best you can dance away there all night. Filled with people of all ages and the bouncers and staff are very friendly! Can request a song. Free on weekdays too!!!!

Flares is one of those clubs that is 100% cheese. I for one, love cheese so Flares is perfect; it's cheap, always has a good atmosphere and it's fairly central in relation to other clubs.

Flares is Newcastle epitomised. A place where the young and old come together in both age and music. The cheesy pop songs the free flowing VKs, this place is a must on any bar crawl.

Good value for money as always free entry apart from saturdays! Just good fun and good sing along songs!

Great night, good, fun, cheesy music from the best period of music. Friendly staff. Drink prices are pretty good and a cool light up floor. You'd go here and then go to a club after if you wanted a great night.

If you're favourite night out is a bit of cheese and listening to some old classics, this is the place for you! Oh, and the drinks are insanely cheap! It's also near all the main places to go, so you can start or end your night there if you don't want to be there all night!

Flares is just a really cool place to go on any night of the week in Newcastle. Playing classics from cotton eyed joe to you raise me up, it will never fail to disappoint. Knock back a few VKs and laugh at the topless agrics singing country roads at the top of their voices. Free entry most nights and a fabulous 60s multicoloured flooring. Flares is life.

Great for a night out with the girls - lots of cheesy music and the DJ takes requests. They have a huge range of WKDs too - really nostalgic.

Best night - very student friendly, not too pricey and great music. Only problem is that week nights are free entrance but you have to pay on weekends which makes it less attractive at that time.
