Very good location with a nice modern room, bathrooms and kitchen needs updating though as they do not match the quality of the room

Individual rooms are refurbished so they’re really nice looking and comfortable and the halls are sociable so you see people all the time. Receptionists are lovely and get to know your name usually. Only thing is the hot water and heating can be dodgy sometimes especially if multiple people want a shower in a short time period but most of the time maintenance do their best to help fix it.

Glenamara was an ideal location just a five minute walk from uni. It was slightly lacking in facilities with the washing machines constantly breaking and no communal or social areas for everyone.

Glen is probably one of the dirtiest halls to chose from apart from Lovain, but it has the most normal people that aren’t stuck up and are more down to earth, always a party going on somewhere and I met all of my mates from here.

Good location and the building itself is quite nice. Rooms were not cleaned very well before moving in as I found dirty socks in the room which were not mine. Bugs in the carpet of my room which kept coming back. My room itself was nicer than expected, with a decent amount of storage space and large wardrobe. Unfortunately it has a reputation as a social accommodation, so was more often than not very loud even around exam time. Occupants playing loud music regardless of time of day are inconsiderate and rude. Overall the accomodation itself is nice although is not the cleanest, and the behaviour of other occupants would most likely be better in a more expensive accommodation. Wish I'd spent the extra money for a nicer building with an en suite.

Great value for the money, very social and met loads of friends but the only downside is the rooms are slightly small with a double bed in

Glenamara was the best Halls for me! The rooms were nice apart from having a single bed, but there was lots of space for clothes etc. It was in a great location being right next to the business school and right on the doorstep to town so was never a long walk home after a night out. All the facilities were good and if everything ever broke they were always quick to fix it.

Great location. Flats a bit dirty but perfect for first year. Little fuss... Somewhere to have fun and get to uni in matter of minutes.

Glenamara is an alright accommodation. It is very social and it is very easy to make friends here, very rarely am I alone. The bedrooms are also very nice! However, I have had no hot water for at least 10 weekends whilst living at Glenamara. The communal areas are also not very nice and need to be refurbished. They also try to fine you for anything possible - even if the things were missing/ broken before you started living there.

The location is within uni campus, which meant I was only a 3/4 minute walk to lectures. Shared showers/bathrooms and kitchen. Good social areas. 8 single bed rooms in a flat.

good location, close to town centre and campus, good room size and facilities and good social opportunities because of the number of people in a flat.

Great social halls. Staff are quick to respond to any problems. Fire alarms often go off for about 5 seconds which is a pain when they wake you up after a night out but obviously this isn't the fault of the accommodation more of the students. Recently refurbished rooms are brilliant - comfy big beds and loads of storage. Love it here, highly recommend. No social areas though.
