The life in manchester is quite amazing with pubs , music and night life. Manchester is one the best city to live in. Football is home to manchester in the form two major clubs i.e United and City. The city is vibrant with the diversity of people who live in.

First of all, the city is very accessible because of the great transport lines. The atmosphere during christmas is really beautiful and the nights out are good fun.

Manchester is perhaps the most popular city in England after London which makes it a huge attraction to potential university students and for job prospects. It's home to some of the most recognisable educational institutions with a great pedigree in producing great achievers. It also has a bery diverse population with people from all over the globe living together.

Loads and loads of things to do all the time! Good travel links and easy to get to places. Clubs are mainly indie / rap if you're into that type of music. It's difficult trying to find a reasonably priced tattooist/piercer. Pubs are lively. Nothern quarter is a good night out.

There's too many things to count about why Manchester is my favourite place; my home. Here's the main things though: 1) It's a big city but still walkable and very accessible with free shuttles, however the public transport is super regular and I feel safe. 2) The various concert venues, clubs, bars and restaurants are endless in entertainment and you're guaranteed a really fun night out, whether you're on canal street, deansgate or spinningfields- there's absolutely something for everyone 3) The community itself is super close and always pulls together in times of need. I'm not sure many other places have as many friendly and full hearted people as the people of Manchester! Wherever I go, Manchester will always have a piece of my heart.

The shopping is great as all the shops are close together and isn't very hard to get lost in the main city center. As well as the shops being close there are plenty of clubs and restaurants near by.

Manchester is a very vibrant and amazing city. There are several different areas to go out in, depending on your mood you could have a completely different night out by simply visiting a different area of the city (Printworks, Northern Quarter, Spinningfields, Deansgate Locks, etc.) The food is always great and you wouldn't go far wrong when picking somewhere to eat, just check the reviews!

There are plenty of bars and places to eat in the northern quarter many of which host live music at night. The best night clubs are 42s and Factory 251 if you prefer indie music and a more relaxed night out, or go to deansgate locks for more dressed-up night clubs like Revolution and Lola-lo.

Best city in the world, multi faith, multicultural, vibrant, happy, welcoming and is the place to be. I have lived here 20 years and u wouldn't want to leave. There's so many great sights to see, great food in city degree and we have the Arndale and Trafford Centre. It's an affordable place to live and has been ranked best city in UK.

Manchester is one of the most amazing cities in the world in my opinion; there are an abundance of places to eat, shop and it has so many things to do with your family and friends. There are lots of events on all the time, a lot which are free and family friendly. The shopping is amazing! Manchester has a huge range of shops and is home to 2 out of 4 selfridges in the country. The Arndale and the Trafford centre are very poplular for a day out of shopping and other things such as cinema, arcades and things to eat. There are so many different places to go for nights out are, meaning there's something for absolutely everybody no matter what your music taste or preference - the northern quarter is a good alternative If you want something quirky and different. Manchester also has lots of small businesses, whether it's an antique shop or cafe, you'll find something you like. The value for money is a lot better than in the south, in places such as London. I would say the transport links are very good, rarely any problems and are dealt with efficiently usually.

Manchester is a city like no other! Lots of heritage in music and industry. Has such a range of things to do, nothing more you could really want. From shopping (Arndale, Afflecks, many arcades and high streets like Deansgate), amazing architecture (central library, town hall, castlefield) to all the museums and gallieries you won't be short of anything to do. There's also a banging nightlife!!

Manchester is such an awesome city! It's like London but 100x better because city is not that busy and food and accomodation is cheaper. You can find anything you need here, we have loads of great restaurants, bars and clubs. There is not a problem to use public transport because all the buses easily connects and from one side of Manchester to another one you can get in an hour. Parks are on every corner, people are lovely and I reccommend everybody to visit this beautiful city. It is such a joy to live down here x

Great city, it's a busy city similar to London except and lower costs. Good shopping links including small shops, retail parks and big shopping centres within easy reach. Transport links are great with low costs for students. More than one cinema and bowling in central.

The nightlife in Manchester is one of its many highlights. There is a huge variety of events. Warehouse project, hidden, soup kitchen and the likes all provide top class music events on a weekly basis. However, the events may set you back around £15 so sometimes its nice just to head to the northern quater for drinks and late night dancing in places like matt and phreds or night and day where entry is normally free or only £3-5. Manchester has nightlife for everyone.

I love the food & the nights out. The clubs are so good especially the ones on Deansgate locks! I love going out for a nice filling meal with my friends to then end the night with a good boogie and some drinks! The drinks are a little expensive at a lot of the places in Manchester and so is the food! As lovely as it is the prices could be a little cheaper especially for students like me! The shopping in Manchester is great, they have a little bit of everything from the cheap shops like primark all the way up to selfridges. Manchester is a great town & all people are welcome which is lovely. Taxis can be a little bit dodgie at night and either not turn up or try and over price

Manchester is one of the greatest city's in England and there is always something to do! There is so much to do for absolutely free including: visiting one of the museums in Central Manchester most noteably The Football Museum. If you're a football fanatic you can visit arguably one of the best two football clubs (Manchester City and Manchester United) and have a tour of their facilities. But best of all, there's a lot of green spaces (parks, fields etc) which are perfect for a barbecue or just to have a stroll around. But if you're thinking, well I can't afford it, then fear not... because things tend to be cheap in Manchester. So nothing's holding you back now, hop on a train and go and see what the great city of Manchester has to offer!!

Manchester is without a doubt my favourite city in the UK by far. It has the perfect mix of clubs, bars and shops. It's always alive however doesn't come with that negative city vibe, the people are nice as well which I didn't think would be the case in a city. There is a club for every genre of music you could want to listen to, from thrash metal to bashment. The arndale and Trafford centre combined have pretty much every shop you could ask for. The public transport is so easily accessible as well, you can get anywhere in the city quickly and isn't too expensive. I'm here for uni, and I know I'll be staying here after I graduate.

I fell in love with Manchester the moment I moved here from Kent. It's an amazing city which gives you everything could ever wish for. There is so much to do, for a good price, whether you're looking for day activities or night, there is something for you! It has great shopping facilities and food, but some of the best restaurants/pubs are hidden gems.

I like Manchester City centre as it has everything you may need in one place, without having to travel far for each thing. It has many good shops, high end and not. It also has things to do, like the Apollo close by, and the Trafford centre. There are also football stadiums and museums and many different things for different cultures. The restaurants are also amazing with many different cultural restaurants, from English, to American and Thai. The travel is also amazing, there are busses going everywhere as well as the trains.
