Never a bad night at 42's. The music is great and the atmosphere is always well good whatever the day. It's also cheap as chips, which is always a plus.

Good value for money, but tickets are more expensive than some other clubs. Good atmosphere, good music. It’s a bit far from major bus routes.

Great for students, great prices, lively atmosphere and easily accessible. Good variety of music with decent DJs. Could be more of a variety of drinks to chose from

42nd Street night-club or 42's as it is commonly known as, is an Indie club and usually the best time to go is a Saturday as Saturday is the most busiest as well as Thursday but the queue is always very long after 12am. In my opinion they make sure you are in a queue for ages to sober you up so you spend more on drink when you are inside I have seen it they may let 40 people leave and only 1 person is allowed in each time. The most critical point I make about 42's is that not so long ago they changed the DJ so what used to be tunes like crosstown traffic and The Who and The Rolling stones are no longer played, every single night at 42's the same DJ plays the same songs in the exact same order drinks are cheap though and the bouncers seem to take the piss out of you. There is never any trouble in 42's but I would say if you do go regularly make sure you don't listen to Indie or Grunge music from the past 25 years or else you will go crazy and end up hating them genres because 42's always plays the same songs from those genres.
