Very popular nightclub, and for a reason. Can get overcrowded at times. Drinks seem decently priced, the venue looks pretty sick.

Good value for money, has a really good atmosphere! Great location and all staff are brilliant! Has a really good student vibe with good music and good dance floor

42nd street has a very friendly atmosphere, where everyone is happy. It is welcoming club for students and hosts a few student nights per week. Indie music played with the occasional different genre. Not a strict dress code which is ideal for many students as it is casual. Drinks are quite cheap, especially on student nights. Offer a student discount on student nights if you show your student ID.

Absolutely rocking this club. Been here so many times with my friends and my new university friends as well. They have good music, its spacious and value for money on drinks!

Great overall atmosphere and music. Student friendly with discount before 12 making it a relatively cheap night out. Good value for money but can be pricey at the weekends.

The venue is really good with an absolutely beautiful aesthetic. I love the music, with genres ranging from indie and rock to a bit of rap with Eminem. Reasonable prices for drinks and entry, especially on student nights and you can always pull if you want! Would recommend to a mate if you like that kind of music

42s is an amazing club. It is one of the only clubs that do not solely play club music and plays classic indie tunes! BRILLIANT NIGHT OUT!!!!

Good atmosphere but the same music every time. Very very cheap and the vast majority of people are students. Good location. All they need to do is switch the music up and they will get more 2nd and 3rd year people

Cheap drinks? Check. Banging tunes? Check. Close to a take away? Check, there’s literally one 5 meters away from the place. 42s is the best night out in Manny. Like the Stone Roses, Oasis, Joy Division, The Smiths, Blondie, Happy Monday’s, The Libertines, Courteeners, Blur, David Bowie or just any generally good music? Then you’ll love 42s. I’ll be honest no club in Manchester compares, Factory is awful, Fifth Ave is a shocking night out and if you don’t wanna be surrounded by fake people then it’s just the best place to relax and get off your face.

The best in northwest one of the best nights out for me Manchester music and much more bouncers are sound as a pound and it’s not expensive decent price decent booze always packed no Matter what day it is

It is the finest place in the planet, banging tunes, cheap drinks and usually pretty easy to get free entry before 12.

Very friendly and welcoming to everyone, cheap too!! Great club for all kinds of indie music from the artic monkeys to oasis. They have everything. They also do 4 jäger bombs for £10 which is really good value

Really good night out. Can always expect a good experience, and good music! The alcohol isn't the cheapest but it's a good price! Having a minimum £5 spend on card is also a bit sad.

best music venue in Manchester for a night out. Drinks are really cheap on student nights, just a shame during the week it's only open Tuesday and Thursday.

My flat love 42's, we all love indie music and cheesy bangers so it is ideal for us. Especially on Tuesdays when there is 90p jaegerbombs which keep us going through out the night. Thank you for having us.

Absoloutely astonishing and then it was amazing and i was like absoloutely not sure what time you want to go out on a wednsday night but not been up too much make it for a few times in my life

42's is a brilliant club, two bars in a fairly small space means that getting a drink isn't too difficult but they're one of the only places with a dance floor that plays the kind of music that they do and they do it properly

Indie af but it's actually decent, good tunes, cheap drinks, pretty nice place, absolutely peng takeaway across the road, students are basically the only people in there, pretty cheap entry and has a cloakroom, so yeah pretty decent

It's a weird and wonderful experience captivating the edgy manchester experience, with cheap drinks and average looking girls you're garunteed to get your fingers wet and possibly more of you know the lyrics to wonderwall.

Sick indie vibes but also some variety in there. Venue is nice, has a 'light tunnel'. Best indie student night in manchester.

42s is the best place going in Manchester full of indie sing along bangers to create a very fun and friendly atmosphere. The drinks are cheap and the boys are good, meaning a cheap and fun night out for all. The staff and bouncers are wonderfully friendly and it is a place to go for all people iregardeless of what you like because you will always have a fun time.

Usually a good place to go- always busy and full of students, however some are quite pretentious. Music wise it's very indie and always classic rock and '80s (it's best when they finally drop Fleetwood Mac or Depeche Mode, but that's just my preferences). The best part about 42s however is that it CHEAP. I've gone on a night out there and gotten smashed on less than £15. it's great value for money.
