Security are pretty sound but the people are boring and there's no flat parties. Over priced for what u get too lol but my flat mates are sound so that makes it better

Great location for reaching all university campuses and transport. Rooms are huge for uni rooms with a 3/4 bed and large amount of floor space. Kitchens are perfect for 4 people with breakfast bar and sofa with a tv.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Oxford court. the rooms are a decent size with ensuite bathrooms and kitchens are a large shared space, good for entertaining and parties. My only negative of Oxford court is that the people I lived with, I feel like there should have been some sort of survey or questionnaire to group people together as I am very outgoing, I got put with two recluses and a guy who was nice enough but not my cup of tea for friendship. One last thing is that there is very limited snd expensive parking.

The location is probably the best part of this accomodation, close enough to town to have a simple walk in, not outrageously busy, good selection of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The halls themselves are fairly spacious, the kitchen is a good size. There has seemed to be issues with peoples heating but when you message maintenance they get things done very quickly.

Good location. Not put together well with other students. Plenty bars around halls. Plenty food areas. No way to know how to meet others.

The rooms in Oxford Court are nice and well furnished. There are different lighting options for the room, a main light, a bed light, desk light and bathroom light. The desk has a lot of storage space as it has shelves and drawers. The closet is also big enough and my room fortunately had storage shelves above my bed. The size of the bed is big, however the quality is not that good as it is quite squeaky even with the slightest move and the mattress protector offered was low quality. My mattress also has a lot of stains. The bathroom is small but has a nice shower, toilet, sink and mirror and is easy to keep clean. The heater was convenient as there are buttons to keep it on to a maximum of 2 hours. The window was fairly small but good enough to let some air in and the blind on it was useful. The kitchen in my flat was spacious as it was for four people and had all the facilities we needed, although heating did not work and our ironing board cover was broken. The kitchen would have been really nice, however my flatmates were messy and kept it unclean, where I had to clean it a couple of times (including their mess). Regarding my social experience, I felt quite left out at times as my flatmates would not talk to me a lot and I didn’t understand why, although I am a bit shy. The beginning of the year was not so great as I some people were quite rude to me in the building even though they did not know me. Some flats around me were a bit noisy and the stairs often smelled of weed which was unpleasant. My social experience might not have been the best but I did meet my boyfriend as we both lived in Oxford Court and had the same interests (music etc.) and that has been really nice. Apart from that, it was easy to walk to University as it was only five minutes away.

The location is a 6 minute walk from the main campus which is really not long at all. Especially for those 9am starts! The location is good because it’s inbetween Birley and Cambridge and Cavendish. The flat numbers vary in size from a 2 bed flat to a 8 bed flat. The facilities is a laundry room right next to the Wilmott reception. There is a car park which you have to pay for. My room is an ensuite and I live in 4 bed flat which is really nice. I have a 3/4 bed but it is practically a double. I have my own bathroom to use. The kitchen is nice and spacious with more than enough room for all me and my flat mates to use. Only thing is the hobs are induction so the pots have to be magnetic. The bathroom is a small size but it is okay for one person. I have a wardrobe but again that is medium sized, a desk and a chair.

Great location, 3 minute walk from campus, large living space and halls kept tidy. Friendly reception and 24hr security.

Beautiful halls, incredibly modern and well decorated. Good for nightlife. But. Bits of our floor have come up, the showers have no pressure and go cold after about 15 minutes, or straight away if someone else is having, or had just had, a shower. My toilet wouldn’t flush, when I moved into uni I didn’t even have a toilet seat. Water tastes gross, and constant fire alarms. Also, there’s a bus stop right outside my flat and whenever it stops we get judged. Can be stopped by putting fake blood on the windows. But effort. And money. I’m poor lol Oh. And the WiFi is crap.

Great location close to busses to Trafford as well as town centre. Facilities aleays good and can rely on staff to fix things if they arent. Meat loads of people from your block as well as others due to the outdoor area. Good size room with great lighting

I really enjoyed my time at Oxford Court, i had a double room with ensuite and shared a kitchen with three others. All bills were included, including WiFi and TV License. Although it was slightly expensive compared to the other halls available, it was much nicer than the rest and I’m glad i chose it.

it started off amazing at halls up until we started to get mice running through our rooms and in our kitchen, yet the accommodation staff were not helpful at all and quite frankly didn't care! It didn't damper much of my experience in halls as the people, are now people i know i'll be friends with for a life time!

Oxford Court is located about 5 minutes away from the Manchester Metropolitan University Buildings so it’s easy to get there. The halls have nice furnished rooms and spacious, modern kitchens and bathrooms.
