Good location walking distance to university. Quiet place to live with good little student bar on campus. Catered food not very good/ repetitive

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better hall. When I received the news that I was going to stay at Hulme Hall I was a bit worried because I thought that only Fallowfield halls would have decent social life, but I was so wrong! Having a bar in our hall made everything better, after dinner we all chilled there and many good events were also organized there. Dinner was the best and most social moment of all day, and it allowed you to make friends with people from other blocks. This is also why I loved being in a catered accommodation, as you weren't stuck with the same few people for the whole year, but you got to meet so many more people a lot more easily.

Great location only ten minutes walk from main university campus, some parts are newly refurbished, catered with decent food.

Amazing place to live in for first year especially! Has a great bar by the dining hall, squash courts, pool, and a multipurpose court. Also a gym. Would totally recommend

Hulme hall is in an extremely good location, close to shops like Lidl and Tesco and also to restaurants in the curry mile. There's hulme hall bar with cheap drinks, squash court and a multipurpose court. Overall, an amazing experience and would definitely recommend!

Hall is pretty close to South campus. There are shops like tesco and lidl in the close proximity. Bus stops near. Got a canteen.

The location is great. It is near Oxford Road and you have everything you need around. It is a catered hall. The food is not the best and you still have to cook for lunch.

Being catered wasn't my choice and I found it difficult. The room was nice and big but it wasn't very social at all

Halls life is good, rooms are nice but the food is absolutely grim, even the healthy options are covered in oil and yet still tastes bland and comparable to wet socks. Avoid the catering at all cost

The atmosphere in Hulme Hall is very calm and quiet, allowing a balance between studying and socialising

Best hall ever. The perfect mix of social life and the quiteness you need to study and relax. There are many facilities such as bar, cafeteria, gym and pool/table tennis room, music room and study room. The bar is always full of life and people and a lot of events are organized weekly. I miss it so much, I met the most amazing people there and I would go back anytime.
