The location of the hall is very convenient, nearby the campus in around 5 minutes and also supermarket in around 15 minutes walk. Equipped of basic facilities such as heater, WiFi, laundry and common area. Good security service to ensure the safety of students and any emergency case. Residential advisor or management team very friendly and helpful in solving student’s problem especially thanks to reception team. Cleaning service could be provided as an additional fees service. Less socialisation between flatmate. My room was located on the ground floor and the window of the room was located nearby the laundry room therefore a lot of noice was produced during midnight and there are people smoking outside everytime. A lot of events and giveaway having at reception. The room was big enough for one person very spacious and love the table and drawer design as well. Floor without carpet made it easy to clean. Everything was alright in the room! Lovely!

Very good and repairs are seen to within a reasonable time however my window is still in very poor condition and I am having issues with noise.

Great location. Great interior design. Good facilities. Missing a communal area for all students. Very expensive. Great room.

The location of Briarfields is really good, 3 minute walk to uni and a short walk from the city centre and arndale shopping centre. The facilities are great as you get your own en-suite and a large living area to socialise with your new friends. The only downfall is the expensive laundry service

Was nice to have an ensuite and the rooms were a good size, however the tv didn’t work and the whole place could’ve done with a fresh coat of paint.

Perfect location, practically in the city centre. Walking distance to everything. Super clean and modern, maybe too modern did feel like a dentists reception with the colour scheme. Great security, not too big nor too loud! My room was a great size with a double bed and en suite, desk and good floor space!

Modern building with a nice design inside but lots of flaws including the gate system and how often everything breaks.

Great location, within walking distance to the city centre and a five minute walk to lectures in the business school. However for the price you pay you would at least expect a weekly cleaner for the social areas.

Great location for getting to lectures and into the city centre easily, however for the price you pay weekly for the room you would at least expect the social rooms to be cleaned once a week by a cleaner.

I loved my experience at Briarfields, as it was my first time living away from family, the city itself is so vibrant which made it more excited to live in Manchester. My room was a okayish size it did the job I guess which is the main thing but overall, it was the best choice I made coming to Manchester :)
