I love the fast paced lifestyle that London living offers; there are so many events that you can go to for free and there is always something to do. However, paid events, and living costs are extremely high so you have to be prepared to pay the extra buck when you want to go out or buy food. Regardless, I love living in London!

It's London so there's so much to do always, loads of events going on and no shortsge of places to eat or drink

London is a big, wonderful, interesting and expensive place. It great to be a student as you can use London to your advantage, especially as a film maker but trust me shit ain’t cheap. Other than the prices London is great, easy travel, good people (in pubs) and there’s a spoon round every corner, you can never go wrong with a spoons.

Great range of things to do and places to explore obviously, however everything is a lot more expensive especially food!

Love the location of my accommodation. It is right in the centre of London where all the best restaurants, clubs and popular city events are only 10min walk away or a 20min bus journey distance. Its super easy to travel around as well as buses, tubes and taxis are literally everywhere within walking distance. Going out with friends or family for a night out at a club/bar or just for a simple dinner is so easy when living here. However, one major disadvantage is the price of most things. From groceries to restaurant food to a club ticket is extremely expensive compared to somewhere much further from the city central. I must always think about the cost and budgetting each time I go out, otherwise I'd end up getting myself into a large debt at the end of the week.

It is a great location on the countryside, down the road from the university you have loads of pubs and food shops which are very good value for money. The location is very calm and peaceful and amazing during the summer.

The university of East London has great links to central London due to its very own DLR station, Cyprus. Close by include various shops and supermarkets as well as being in close proximity to Westfield shopping centre in Stratford.

London is a really diverse place and you can find loads of places to eat, there’s lots of good transport links but it’s really expensive in terms of rent and for buying food and everything else

A beautiful city where you never run out of things to do! So many beautiful buildings, museums, parks and views. For those who crave the quiet, there are so many coffee shops and mini-park spots and the British Library is wonderful for studying. It is a pricey place to study though, everything is expensive!

The location is good because it’s a good distance from clubs and from a supermarket. Plus there are multiple tube stations giving access for multiple different lines within walking distance.

Central London, busy day and night life, always something to do, every shop needed within walking distance, only problem is everything is very expensive

I absolutely love London, the nightlife is amazing, number of clubs and bars. There is always somewhere to go or something to do. Could be very distracting and expensive but it’s fine. There has to be more 24 hour fast food places in the edgware road paddington area.

London is such a great city to study in, as there is so much to do outside of your studies. Around UCL itself are many restaurants that have quite cheap lunches (for being London). In addition, the nightlife is very good as there are so many student clubs in London. The only major downside is the rent, as the rents in London are ridiculously high.

Very expensive, but a beautiful place to live. Lots of entertaining things to do and see. Public transport is easy and cheap if you’re a student.

I chose my uni not only because the course looked great, but also because of it's London location. There is so much nightlife, varied food and activities that you can do. It is also the centre of great opportunities for students.

My Uni is located in South Ealing. This is a very nice place with lots of green areas, clubs, shops (even a shopping centre) and most of all is well connected with the centre. You can take the Piccadilly or the central line to be in 35 min in Oxford Circus.

Central London got everything you may ever need. From pop-up shops to big fancy famous restaurants. The transport connection between central London and the rest of London is amazing both during day and night. During the weekends there is a night tube to help the night buses take you back home from the club. Some restaurants or fast food shops are still open for breafast so you won’t be getting home on an empty stomachs.

A great city with a lot of great attractions however it is very pricey but other than that a lot of people from different parts of the world that are very friendly

The location is close to the main city centre. The city centre includes many great features such as popular restaurants and great nightlife. It also has a large shopping centre with a variety of different stores

The location is very close by to the shopping centre and is practically walking distance which makes it great. There are also many bus options from Uxbridge station and buses run pretty often so this is great for those who commute to uni?

Several amazing club locations. Great places to eat. London is a uniquely diverse location where you are able to experience different cultures and backgrounds. Londoners are helpful and friendly. However London is a very expensive city to live in.

Studying and living in London is an unique experience. The nightlife is thriving, so much to choose for, there are clubs for fans of every kind of music and every kind of party there is. Every evening has some incredible gigs. The choice of restaurants is amazing, you can choose a cheap but delicious option or something fancy. There's no time to be bored. All the exhibitions and events can take your breath away. The thing that's definitely a pain are the prices. In London everything's more pricey than anywhere else so you have to be prepared for it when you're moving to the city. Also the transport can be very annoying. It's not easy to find a place to live which would be close to everything you need so you have to take buses or tube a lot and it can be very annoying as there are delays very often.
