The location of my university is in London’s zone 6, which is basically outside of London. Even though the university advertises that you can get to central London for 45 min, it is absolutely impossible, as trains in Uxbridge are often delayed. Traveling from Uxbridge to London is also not budget-friendly, as you need to take a bus and the tube, which can cost you up to 6-7£ one way, which means that going out in central London is quite pricy. If you decide to take an UBER so that you can go home late at night, it will cost you around 40£ so nightlife is limited to Uxbridge area. Of course, you could ride the night bus, but it’s not ideal, as the area is not very safe.

The teachers, the friends I’ve made and to actually do a course I love is the best bit about being a student.

Not the best uni experience for me. Location from my house to town was too far, campus was also really far to travel to. Not many clubs that cater to different genres of music. Really expensive cabs & very rude.

Freshers was poorly organised and boring, it was in 5 if the worst clubs in London and was really bad, the music was the same playlist every night and by the end of the week no one even wanted to go out
