In a good location as it is close to Warren street station, Euston square station and Euston with many bus links as well. Schafer houses around 400 student separated by blocks and flats with up to 5 people per flat. The rooms are a decent size with each flat sharing a nice kitchen amd shower which is cleaner 3 times a week.

THE BEST halls at UCL. Schafer is super social as its divided into flats of up to 5- you really get to know the people you live with. Secondly, its really close to uni, takes less than 10 minutes to walk and about 20 minutes walk from Oxford street. LOVE SCHAFER.

Great first year halls. Location is crazy, super close to UCL and in central London (closest tube station is Warren Street)- its great to spend your first year living in central london. Its expensive, as with everywhere in London but is avergage halls price.

Good loation, nice flats, arrangements of furniture not ideal, common room good but need more events rather than just one at beginning of the year, kettle and oven were not very good at all, fire alarm drill at 7am was not very good at all as some of us had an important thing on which was made worse because of being tired

Schafer House is so centrally located, perfect for getting to uni extremely quickly with access to two Tube lines, which is so convenient for getting around most of London. The facilities are modern and more than adequate and the layout of the flat made it very easy to become good friends with my fellow flatmates. My room was good, furnished with everything I needed whilst studying and made me feel like I was back at home.

Very over priced accommodation. Good location, near to all amenities in central London but not worth the extortionate rent. Quality of facilities also lacking and often problems with noise and damage to the property.

Schafer is very good in all aspects and is probably ideal in location. It’s about a 5-10minute walk depending on where your lectures are. Main quad is about 5 mins away hence its close to the library making it easy to stay at the library till late. The social experience is decent due to 5 blocks you’re bound to find mates that are similar to you and flats are of 3 and 5 so that helps too. There’s a common room which was handy during freshers cause that’s where you meet a lot of new people and essentially could make friends for life! The rooms are nice they’re not huge but not too small either and they give quite a lot of storage space too. Only thing is the shared toilets. They’re cleaned every few days and there’s 2 between the flats. It really depends on the hygiene of your flat to be really honest. I personally was so annoyed with shared toliets but since moving in I’ve accepted it and they’re really not that bad compared to other halls like Ramsay. The kitchen is fairly big and well equipped. Again it’s up to the personal hygiene of your flat to make sure the sink is empty so the cleaners can clean up. Overall Schafer is an all rounder, close to uni and reasonably priced for what you get.

Schafer is unanimously considered the best halls associated with UCL. The location is central, a 5-10 minute walk from most campus locations. The rooms are basic but clean, with relevant facilities and spacious kitchens on the most part. People tend to be really sociable. Access of amenities such as mail is also simple and staff are friendly and helpful. Overall my experience at schafer has been great and i’d definitely recommend it.

Incredibly close to the main university campus (less than a five minute walk) putting it in easy access to good transport links and with the rest of central London. Friendly staff who maintain facilities that are functional if not amazing. Rooms are a good size, as are flats, and fully equipped.

Very close to UCL, only a 5 min walk, reasonable rent price. The accommodation was well maintained the whole year with any maintenance issues being sorted out very quickly.

Really big room, good-sized kitchen, shower is decent and two bathrooms means you never have to wait for the toilet. Overall, really good. Great location and really social. But unfortunately the water is a bit of an issue, my bedroom sink cold-tap lets out hot water and no one has helped me fix this. And the water has gone completely out three times in my time here. Eduroam WiFi can be a bit of a problem too.

The location was excellent, close to Regent’s Park, TCR and a 5 minute walk from uni. The facilities were not great. Social experience was great and very lively. My room was a good size and had a nice amount of furniture so that I had enough storage space for all of my possessions. The bathrooms were small but that was not an issue as they were cleaned regularly. The kitchen was a good size with lots of storage space, a sofa would have been a great addition!!

The location is the best part you're only a five minute walk away from the uni. Other than that it's pretty over priced for what it is, none of the rooms have en-suite and the rooms are kind of on the small side. Everything's pretty clean though and you get cleaners come regularly

Schafer House is located in Drummond street, only 5 minutes away from the main UCL campus. As well as being close to the uni, the area it's situated in is very convenient with plenty of central tube stations. The halls have decent sized rooms and relatively well equipped kitchens. However, there are fairly regular water and wifi outages which are frustrating. Overall though, it has been a pleasure to live there.

Location was incredible, very much appreciated biweekly cleaners and small flats were nice and intimate. Facilities were good (had oven and microwave and a shower with great pressure, sink in room).

Ideal location, five minutes away from campus, 15 minutes from Oxford street, 15 minutes from Camden and, most importantly, 2 minutes away from a McDonald's. Rooms are fairly nice, just quite dark and gloomy. Nice that flats are fairly small and therefore clean but beware that some flats are just for two people which can be quite lonely and boring!

Location is great, very convenient in a city where transport is so expensive. Very social and overall pleased to be in these halls

Loud, water and electricity sometimes cuts off and expensive. Cleaners are good and people are friendly. It’s quite expensive for a small room and poor walls etc. The hob in the kitchen isn’t very good and the fridge seems to let food go off quite quickly. Internet is terrible.

Schafer was really good, had loads of fun. The rooms were small but quite cosy and cosy is good. The kitchens were small but large enough to chill in which was ideal.
