Connaught was a really friendly and homely hall. It was just the right size (not too small that there wasn't enough people and not too big so that you didn't know anyone) and all the halls staff were very helpful and friendly. Sometimes people think intercollegiate halls are boring/not social but we had a bar that was open every night and so many halls socials that this was never a problem. The food was sometimes hit and miss and would've preferred better kitchen facilities to cook myself, but overall this wasn't really a huge problem. Would really recommend living there, the location is great and everyone is made to feel welcome.

The location is amazing- right opposite there is a park, and you are surrounded by multiple restuarants or fast food stores that you can just roll out of bed and go to on your lazy days, with Brunswick centre nearby too. The hall is very diverse and small, which gives cosy community vibes as you mix with different people during hall events and dinners.
