Liverpool. When you’re born there you never want to leave, and when you do you only realise how amazing it is. When you move here you it becomes your permanent residency. There are not a friendlier bunch of people than scousers, a huge city that carries a sense of community. We are arty, cultural, intellectual, musical, happy and loving!!

The university is full of atmosphere, it is right in the centre of Liverpool which is very convenient for students. The night life is amazing and you will almost always get along with anyone near your accommodation! I highl recommend Liverpool for an undergrad student.

Good night life, safe friendly city centre location. Lovely welcoming city. With lots to do, including all the galleries near the docks and surrounding villages.

Liverpool is a fantastic city, for students and the wider population. The city has a charming character, from the beautiful Georgian Quarter, the mighty cathedrals that stand at opposite ends of Hope St to the likes of Bold Street, lined with independent cafes and restaurants. A trip up the Anglican Cathedral is a must, the views are spectacular - or you could opt to go up the Radio City tower or to one of many rooftop bars which offer similar sights. A trip across the Mersey has similarly spectacular views. There are endless shops, food and drink prices are low in comparison with London, and you are never short of places to go out and eat/drink. There is something for everyone’s taste and a great atmosphere everywhere.

Liverpool is truely a city that never sleeps. I chose to come here for a variety of reasons; the number of universities which means the city is full of students, the good nightlife, how friendly people are here and it's not an expensive place to live!

Liverpool is a really good place to be a student as it isn't super busy like the bigger cities but is just big enough to have a lot to do! There are so many different places to go to eat and drink, and our student union put on loads of extra events for students that we wouldn't usually have access to. It's such a nice place to walk around with the docks, shops and green spaces and it's a great place to be a student!

Cracking city, always somewhere for a good pint. Lots of craft beer - never short of a pub. Worth checking out the local breweries, especially Higsons! Brewdog bar is very modern and always has the good stuff on the taps. Liverpool’s music scene is awesome, cheap gigs with some great tunes. The Beatles set it up well! History of the city, especially the docks, is defo worth seeing. Venture out of town a little to Sefton Park and Crosby beach if you can, easily done on merseyrail, highly recommended. Merseyrail are decent, strike too much in my opinion - can be a pain when that happens

Liverpool is one of the best places for nights out that I have ever experienced. It has been consistently a good time with plenty of places that you can go to as well as many of the clubs and bars having their own discounts on different nights so if you are aware of what those are then you are able to have a cheap night out as well. I've never been stuck for something to do in the day as there is always something to do however town can get really busy during peak times and can often feel very crowded to the point where people can start to get a little impatient but other than that it is fine.

Love the uni, the city is beautiful with so much to see and do, plenty of tourist attractions and days out. The accommodations are in great locations both close to town and campus.

Every server is nice in every shop or restaurant, I've personally experienced. There are plenty of places to eat and if you look hard enough can find really cheap student places for great food

Liverpool is a great city that’s quite small but also has a lot to do, during the day you could go to the high streets and shop, visit museums and the docks, and at night there are many great bars and clubs to go too for all different tastes.

Liverpool is an overall great city it provides shopping, leisure activities, eating out and a great night life for all tastes. There are museums cinemas and mini golf and much more in terms of leisure activities. The Liverpool One offers all major shops and brands. The nightlife is buzzing with venues at concert square, Matthews street and in the Baltic triangle and there is something for everyone with each club in the concert square putting on an event each weekday.

Small friendly city, very welcoming locals. Cheap decent halls and student housing close to town. Great uni campus' close to the city centre, with loads of local bars and independent businesses in their doorstep. Good city for clubbing, most are within a few roads of each other. Really cheap and cheerful.

Really love liverpool, there's always a food/drink shop nearby - some great coffee shops to choose from. Plenty of good pubs and bars - definitely recommend the drinks at the Font. I only wish they'd lower the prices a bit for students at the small shops though (eg Tesco) as the grocery shops nearby to the universities in liverpool can be quite pricey. Love going to town, Liverpool ONE has everything to offer.
