The city is full of great spots for food, nightlife and shopping. However it doesn't feel overly safe all the time due to crime level

Liverpool is a fun city to go for university, the nightlife is so much and it's so cheap, so is the rent and taxis, however it is not diverse and there are no employment opportunities either during or after your studies.

Shopping is amazing, has every shop and restaurant you could think of. Student nightlife is great but there are lots of police around all the time and it's very cold.

Go to Albert Fock and Pier Head during the day and at night. They give you different feelings when visited at diff times. Try out the wheel at Albert Dock to have a full glance of Liverpool and Birkenhead. Lots of brands, shopping is good. The city is around 20 mins walk from the uni of liverpoil

Good town, lots to do, people are generally nice, plenty of places to eat, and sights to see, transport is regular and reliable with friendly staff.

The university is a little far out and takes about half an hour by bus to get to Liverpool city centre, the bus is only £2 and has everything you need for example Liverpool one shopping, which includes all your big name retailers and restaurants that all give student discount through NUS when you go out in the week, there is plenty to do in Liverpool museums and culture to explore at the weekends some of which is free.

Theres only 2 good places to go out, the area is very residential so it's hard to find places to go. It is a beautiful place, especially in the summer but again, its in the middle of nowhere so if you dont drive it can be hard to get to and from where ever you live and can take quite a long time.

Liverpool in general is a bustling city full of tourism, great nightlife, fantastic restaurants local and foreign such as Oriental/Mexican/Italian etc. We also have a wide range of shops ranging from clothing, gadgets, tech, music, gaming etc. There is always something to see that even us locals haven't seen in the sides of the streets.

Liverpool is great value for money! Eating out, nights out and housing rarely break the bank. Shopping has a range of options. You can he’d to Liverpool one for all your needs or edge hill if you can’t deal with the crowds

Location is your common city, transportation either very busy or never arrive on time if at all, good luck getting into a good restaurant too as they'll be packed a majority of the time, Lived here for 23 years, and wish sometimes to move away
